English is by far the most taught language in Brazil after portuguese, and brazilian loves training their English with foreners. I've experienced this myself
I don't think so, I walked around alone but didn't feel comfortable there at night alone. During the daytime you just have to worry about pickpocketing, but at night armed robbery could happen
curious fact: açaí is NOT traditional food in most states of Brazil. It arrived in Sao Paolo when I was 13, and it seemed completely strange to me. Original açaí from Pará is NOT sweet. There there's the tradition of eating it with fried fish. It was a marketing strategy to sell sweet açaí with lots of toppings around the country and worldwide.
I didn't know that, i thought it grew all over brazil naturally. I prefer the natural acai thats not sweet, as long as you add some other fruits to a smoothie it tastes great
Im sorry for recommending you Parque Villa-Lobos. To me, this is the least interesting park here. Ibirapuera is the most gorgeous one (and it's enormous!), while Jaraguá and Água Branca have very distinct styles.
It's fine, Parque Villa-Lobos is nice but it isn't somewhere i could go everyday. Ibirapuera is definitely a park you could visit everyday for a breath of fresh air
Just subscribed! That was an amazing hour long vlog of your life in Sao Paulo! My question is, do they have a residence visa so you could stay longer than 6 months? Other than that, i need to get that Acai ice cream 😋🍦
I’m almost 20 years living in Asia so I might be wrong about this but we don’t (didn’t) have HOA in Brazil. To me, HOA is a nightmare!! I even made a comment about brothers having to clean their mom’s garage and sidewalk because she had to pay $150 per day not cleaned. 😱
Hoas are terrible. In brazil, the houses I see in gated communities are called condo houses and they have condo fees which is pretty much the Brazilians version of a hoa
It's funny how north americans think it's a mandatory thing for other people in the world to speak english. Don't blame your frustration on others just because you are uncapable of learning other languages! Most european people speak two or three different languages, or more... Get a grip!
cool video! I'm from São Paulo, and SP is better than Rio de Janeiro, things work here, the climate is better, we have 4 seasons here, Rio is very hot... Rio is more dangerous, I was a I went to Rio and saw a robbery in front of me, and a shooting 30 meters away, and I've never seen that in São Paulo!! And if you miss the beach, SP has very beautiful beaches, which are in the top 10 best in Brazil!
it's not dangerous.. in it's huge cities like sp,rio ..is crime but it is just like any other city in world ..everywhere in big cities there is crime, whether it is london, newyork ..i feel sad when i see people who comment dangerous dangerous about brasil ..this ruined image of brasil a lot.. people without visit or knowing ,speak anything
You are trying to show us around, but you constantly have your face in the video covering what you are trying to show us. I don't why so many people keep doing this annoying and dumb thing, we saw nothing but your face, SMH
Those houses can easily cost over 1 million US$ depending on the size, because they are in a noble area (and because everything in SP is overpriced). But the most expensive ones are in closed condos, you can't reach them through regular streets. They hire private security and you have to be identified in order to get in.
Wow that's expensive. I think the condos are better because they provide better security. I want travel all around brazil and eventually move to the city i like the best
