I have 6 DJI Drones, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, AIR 2S, AIR 3, DJI FPV Drone, Avata 2, all fly more combos & my wife has a Mini 3 Pro. My AIR 3 is awesome, Ive taken it out 5.1/2 miles & still had 4 bars of signal strength, & I returned with 30% battery life remaining. I have 3 different sets of dji goggles, Goggles V2, Goggles Integra, & Goggles 3, the new Goggles 3 are excellent, I love them.
Could you tell us what that simulator was that worked with the DJI PFV2 remote? Or the 3 either way I have both the Avata 2 and the original FPV. Trying to learn the freestyle but only have those remotes and thought there was no simulator that worked with them!
I find it crazy that their are always haters on these types of videos, at the end of the day the footage speaks for itself and Chris has some of the best FPV shots I've seen.
Man what an awesome location. I only fly in the mountains because of where I live (and I truly love it), but grew up in the Caribbean and miss the ocean. Cheers! And great content!
Thank you! Not yet. It is a little scary to fly knowing the RC is lost if I loose video. I just ordered a TBS Tango 2 Pro with crossfire and will do a test to see if its better.
@@ChristianoGioacchini was looking to get the evoke 2 with o3 as I had the Dji rc2 already. Did it ever happen to you, some people I saw got it at a few feet. Had me skeptical.
I have the rc2 and 03 set up. Never had a drop. I think it can happen but it can happen just as often with ELRS or Tango. Statistically more comments will pop up about loss of signal from a DJU system simply due to numbers used.
I don't understand why it's now a trend to buy/build a drone with the O3 unit and then use a GoPro. You throw so much Money away for a Split FPV cam that you not fully use instead of getting a Vista with a Nebula Pro camera.
I think it comes from the fact that people already have the DJI goggles and RC so it makes sense to get the 03 air unit. Also, I believe that people who are new to FPV are intimidated by systems they are not familiar with. DJI has become almost a house hold name. (I am people)
I use the O3 over the Vista because the image quality is better, and the range and penetratration is also better. Also, a lot of people like to keep the fpv camera (O3) at 100fps to lower latency while running Gopro at a lower fps with a locked shutter to achieve motion blur. I don't really notice latency and think it runs best at 60fps though, but I'm a shit pilot lol. I really think the quality of the O3 is top notch anyway, and only use Gopro if I'm at a really epic location and want more options, as far as format and quality.
I got me the Air 3 yesterday and it does not disappoint to say at least. I don't think the drone is noisy at all. I come from a Dji Phantom 3 Advanced so I'm used to noise 😅. What a huge difference in every aspect! I will get the Freewell ND filters soon too. Good video.
Good presentation my friend. Wow! Sardinia! I've been there probably long before you were born! LOL! Beautiful place and many have no idea where it is. Laughs! They can look it up on the map. I still have my Mini 3 Pro as my #1 for now and plan to get the Air 3 or the next up. However, with all the new drone laws in the U.S., there could be trouble on the horizon for DJI here! Damn politics is in everything! Take care.
Quck answer: Yes, if you already have one; it's still a great camera; Maybe, if you don't have one and can pick it up at reasonable cost, and if you already have lots of good EF glass..... It amazes me how everyone, everywhere can rave about a brand new camera, and how good it performs --- then just a few years later try to say it's pretty much junk. Nonsense. IF you ARE actually a professional, then you can justify the absolute latest model, if not, then the previous top-of-the-line cameras are most probably going to be quite fine..... On the other hand, I'm waiting for the R1.... and waiting, and waiting.
I have a shitty one that reduces the quality but i have to say with sunsets on a beach it works like a charm, you get so much character in your photo’s because all the light reflections in the water make shiny stars and the sun it self ofcourse too. One of my favorites to bring to a sunset beach shoot for sure. Thx maybe i buy this one instead of reducing quality🙏👌
Dude love the thumbnail and the video is so in depth love it! I’m pretty sure they won’t bring out the next iteration of the drone for while. Also considering they had the air 2s maybe they’ll bring out the air 3s instead of the 4 🤷🏻♂️
