Thank you for the tutorial, it was helpful. for fellow learners like me, if your SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR function does not work, add .[Date] at the end of your Date column. the tutorial date column was Calendar[Date], in my case will be Calendar[Date].[Date]. the last [Date] is a power BI method. it took me almost half an hour to make it work.
If you disable the load in power query, would that be a problem with the source data, if the source data gets updated, will the updated data come to power qery
Disabled query will not be shown in the Data model. But it will be updated when the source file gets updated. Same updation will be reflected to the query that reference it.
i have implemented this thing but when i am applying filter of r 1 month the previous month should show the previous value but its not showing it coming up blank ....any suggestion
Hi, I have a table and used the formulas in your video but my data only show three years from 2022- 2024 but does not display 2016 - 2021. Do you know what I am doing wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.
is there any relationship between the calendar table and your sales details table? or how did were able to visualize fields from both sources in one single table on min 1:29
Thanks for uploading this video. I applied these steps and it worked. However, when I shared with other user, the user cannot access the file and this error was returned: object reference error. How can I resolve this or grant access to the user?
Thank you so much. This video explains clearly how to do it. Could you tell me where I can learn basics of DAX for power BI such as what is value, expression, etc etc.
I looked through SEVERAL blog posts for a solution to running total, and EVERY answer was to create a new date table and disable the intil date setting. This is the first post I've seen to do it without making life more complicated! 🎉 THANK YOU! 👏
@BroRajAnalyst Hi !! There is a doubt regarding the use of ISINSCOPE function. In "Year & Month % " measure just by altering the sequence of code, i.e. by checking for [Year] 1st and then [Month], the output is all different, how so and why?
Thank you! One of my goals for the new year is to split the models and the reports, and build all future reports from the model on the service. I was concerned about reconnecting existing reports to the semantic model on the server. You showed me just how easy it is.
Cê é bão de mais no que ce faiz meu brodim, salvou o papai, o unico problema é q ce criou um sistema pra resolver essa merda, mas tamo junto, depois em como resolver mais fácil
