The Razzies are weird... Some of the selections seem valid, but many don't feel justified, because of the movies these people are acting in. The majority of these films are goofy comedies and/or intentionally campy. A lot of these these actors are capable of delivering in more dramatic or serious scenes, but are more well known for their goofy and over the top performances, so they lean into that because that's what audiences want and they know what kind of movie they're in 🤷
Demo Moore was not that bad in G.I. Jane and it’s complete horseshit Heather Donahue got the “ award” for Blair Witch Project. Everything else here is pretty much spot on.
Eddie Murphy did not deserve his razzie for Norbit, if anything he deserved an Oscar for playing 3 different characters, when I first saw the movie at 7 years old I was convinced all 3 characters were played by different actors
AN EPIC FAIL ON THE RAZZIES: Giving Sylvester Stallone the wins for *"RAMBO: First Blood, Part II",* *"ROCKY IV",* *"RAMBO III",* and then nominated him for *"ROCKY V"* and *"RAMBO: Last Blood"* (which was nominated for Worst Picture, but thankfully lost to Tom Hooper's *"CATS".)*
The last few years really do seem to be what on earth is this, much like 2010s & 2020s music. Whoever was picking in the late 90s & early 2000s just seemed to have it in for pop stars regardless.
Rambo First blood was a memorable movie. I enjoy all of his movies. Never knew about Prince movie. Estelle Getty was awesome. Affleck movies are not bad. G Bush was awful.
Honestly, props to you for making that song work in that mashup. I’m currently working on an edit for the Best Picture Nominees(funnily enough that first scene from Maestro also came to my mind first for the beginning) but I lack 1) inspiration and 2) material to work with, but seeing this makes me wanna work on it again so thank you :)
@@KernelHughes i’ve seen these movies where Madge “won” and these performances are very VERY BAD! (especially in Swept Away, considering that it was directed by her then husband Guy Ritchie). The one role that I disagree with the Razzies is Nikki in Who’s That Girl. I thought she was pretty decent in that
