What an awesome band! My son’s high school Jazz combo had the opportunity to play for Terence last week and got some first-class feedback on their improvisation. Amazing experience they will treasure the rest of their careers! Truly grateful!
Does the score include the solo? I'm interested in the trumpet part as this sounds correct with the recording, but all the other transcriptions I found are in different keys.. I'd buy it for the solo written in trumpet Eb!
2 weeks straight only Potter and friends music) Wanna mention marvelous concert with indians, then holland and calvaire and this set today. Thank you!)
I love Anat's playing. I've heard her live a half dozen times, playing a wide variety of music. She is one of those of her generation, like Regina Carter, who knows the history of the music, and makes it her own. Nightmare, clarinetist Artie Shaw's theme dates from the '40s. She's made wonderful music of Armstrong's '30s work. I've heard her cop Prez, and I've heard her make magic in Grace Cathedral! Obviously, I'm also a big fan of Regina's work.
