The RRU Pride Social was magnificent, though I'd love to see it return to the grounds behind the Castle, as it has been in the past. Royal Roads also did spectacularly in yet again taking part in the Pride Parade. Congratulations, and commiseration, to the staff member who wore the peacock suit on that long hot walk on the parade route from Chinatown to Menzies.
Thanks for your message. Please contact our enrolment advisors with your question through our online form: www.royalroads.ca/rmi-form Have a great day!
There's one and only one requirement to address the effects of spewing 51 billion tons of greenhouse gases pollution into our globally shared atmosphere annually. Slow, stop, reverse emissions of fossil fuels ASAP. Current parts per million combined greenhouse gases pollution is nearing 500. Nearly 2X more than before industrial revolution.
A very lively video🙌 I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, I was wondering if I can help you create better distribution through your videos?
Born This Way - by Lady Gaga, A Little Respect- by Erasure, It's a Sin- by Pet Shop Boys, Girls and Boys- by Blur, Outside- by George Michael, Kylie Minogue (anything she sings). Agree entirely with Donna Summer!

This is truly a beautiful campus. I plan to attend for my Bachelor's degree in Education, and if I'm accepted, I will 100% wear some old-fashioned dresses and woodland dresses. I'd feel like a princess!! 😄
Hi Professor Thompson. Out of curiosity, you say you're not a fan of nationalism, I imagine you're speaking about French canadian nationalism primarily. Do you speak french yourself? And do you consider yourself more of a Montrealer or a Quebecer?
This lady has an amazing voice. Pure relaxation. Apparently, some people weren’t relaxed enough and go on blithering rants, whining and bitching and complaining about having to follow Covid rules.
The number one thing that any one person can do to address the worldwide poly crisis is to support a voluntary reduction of the human population. We need a 2% ecological footprint tax for the richest 1% of the world to hire the appropriate medical staff, and set up mobile units that could go to communities around the world, paying people to get sterilized. When considering, renewable energy options to mitigate the suffering caused by our predicament… Don’t believe the bright green lies! There is nothing renewable about so-called “renewable energy“. Energy powers ecological devastation independent of its source. If human beings actually had an endless source of free clean green energy… Which does not exist it would only fuel the acceleration of the destruction of the biosphere. Deforestation, ocean depletion, habitat loss, desertification, biodiversity loss, soil degradation, groundwater depletion, global warming, overpopulation, rampant pollution, and the six mass extinction would all continue to accelerate. This is not a supply problem… It’s a demand problem! Fewer humans equals less suffering for all life on earth! We really need to promote government and nonprofit funded vasectomies and tubal ligations. I realize that it is unlikely that governments will pass a tax on the rich to pay for voluntary sterilization, and you may not be able to contribute, or participate in a nonprofit that funds voluntary sterilization. However, you can discuss with others whether it is ethical to bring a child onto a planet, in the midst of. Global industrial, and ecological collapse. We can talk about the ways that we can mitigate suffering, or people can stay silent, remain ignorant, live in denial, continue to celebrate procreation, and contribute to the suffering. We can either reduce our population by choice… Or we can let nature do it in her unmerciful way… it’s biology 101… A life that is never brought into existence, is a life that will not have to suffer the unequivocal impending collapse.
And its ok for you to lose your job and be charged with misleading Canadian citizens with your W.H.O and W.E.F woke cult agendas Jail for you and all you liberal cronies.. bye bye
I can not believe Canadian tax payers dollars pay for a personal bodyguard for this W.H.O and W.E.F ... supporter.. absolute crime.. Maybe if she didn,t lie .. she wouldn't need one
Awesome message. I'm planning a flexible admissions application and have had similar thoughts of, maybe I'm too old.. one is never too old. Thanks for getting up there and telling your story.
Congratulations Dr Vanessa, I am watching you from Ghana. I can relate to the topic. In my small way, I have been educating my community people about climate change and also advocate for protecting the environment.
This is engrossing-a great learning experience for me! Clayton Thomas-Müller's comment about the "scam" of carbon sinks (at 1:15:15) reminded me of reporting by Democracy Now on Dec. 7, from COP28. They interviewed Nigerian activist and poet Nnimmo Bassey about Blue Carbon, a company based in the Emirates and he said, "COP has continuously been opening up the space for these kind of false climate solutions. And it’s all embedded in Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, which allows for a false solution like carbon offsetting, like geoengineering, carbon capture and storage. They’re all - these are things that allow polluters to keep on polluting without cutting emissions at source. And so, we’re having corporations like the one you mentioned advancing into many African countries - Liberia, into Kenya, into everywhere, Zimbabwe and the rest. And they’re “investing” - “investing” in quotes - into large tracts of land. And it’s really scary, some of the things we are hearing. We’re hearing some countries may sell up to 20% of their landmass, many of them 10%. And, of course, we hear about the Nigerian states that also are signing memorandum of understanding to sell out about close to 800,000 hectares of land." (www.democracynow.org/2023/12/7/nnimmo_bassey_cop28) Makes me wonder what percent of land in so-called Canada is being used for carbon offsets.
I'm grateful to have fallen upon this video that was made. I watched it fully to the very end. Gave me a little insight to the strong knowledge that was carried by this respective grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, cousin. I love the humor that comes in the stories.
