Coming soon All new construction MUST have a sprinkler system built in. Adding 30 to 40 thousand dollars to new home prices. The new laws were introduced by politicians who received large campaign donations from fire suppression corporations. Your government is working very hard to protect you...... ..
This makes me think of all the 3d printed concrete houses will stand to fire with all the furniture inside. Though I don't know what kind of concrete they use.
Fellow smoke jumper here 2015 rocky fires. In Northern California! 2016 rough ridge fire north ga! Just a few to rattle off haha Be safe bud with the changes in the weather the updrafts have became a new entity. Just dealt with the Collette ridge fire in North Carolina and it was a beast constantly changing direction when it’d clear a peak. It’s either speed up down the mountain or suddenly veer left or right and haul absolute balls. We had to evacuate twice on that due to it surrounding us and picking up pace faster than we could make a burn line so we had to set a 10 mile perimeter and just go to town. Took 2 weeks to finally get it contained but it was like the fire knew exactly where we were trying to block it and it would try to weasel its way around. Take care brother or sister may we cross paths one day and we battle it out against the gates of the true hell on earth!!!!
If fires spread that fast, if you were rich, would it be crazy to have like an industrial level sprinkler system installed? Feel like that should be standard on houses since they burn so fast, like the sprinklers in hotels, most ppl just don’t care enough or can’t afford it, I’d assume Not trying to be an ass, that’s a genuine question. I’ve always just taken proper precautions to not cause a fire & luckily family members are pretty fire conscious. Stop drop & roll, crawl on the floor, but that’s not gonna help a ton of your house is engulfed. I guess instead of sink or swim it’s escape or die at that point. Got fire extinguishers, don’t think that’s gonna help if a couch is engulfed, maybe I’m wrong
I’ve worked in higher dollar new homes that come with a water tank and sprinkler system under constant pressure with a sprinkler pump incase of a fire .
@@anthonylogan381 thanks for the info, talked to pops & he said they’ve been talking ab making sprinklers mandatory for years, it’s expensive & not a priority for most ppl. Interesting
I was in my local FD. Sprinkler systems are very helpful to contain or put out fires when they start. Although most home fires I have seen start with electrical in the walls and a sprinkler system wouldnt do much for that. As well sprinklers love to leak and malfunction when not serviced 100% properly and even then they still do. And just like your houses electrical, plumbing, ect should be services who actually does that? Id say if you have the money and want to go for it. However if you buy all old furniture made before memory foam and the shitty quality materials that have air pockets in it for “lightweight” features you can unofficially extend that response time a minute or two. (What i mean by that was we did a training where we set up to mock living rooms one with furniture from the 70-80s and one with modern stuff, tossed a lit cigarette into the couches and within a minute the modern room was on fire. The older room never caught fire and only smoldered after like 15 minutes)
It was a malfunctioning smoke detector, so there was an alarm going off at this point but you couldn’t hear it, so I added the sound to help the effect.
I went to this school... Side note though, If it was a real emergency then multiple things would be different: 1. They would not have you guys walking that close to the school 2. The emergency lights on the fire apparatus would be on 3: the firefighter would be pulling lines and grabbing tools if it was a fire. Knowing this school, yes the fire alarms do go off a lot and they do have many false alarms but the school refuses to fix the issue which is hot water dripping on to a sensor.
Thank you. To all of our beautiful First responders. Without them Who could you call when you have a serious emergency. I love you all. Have a safe and Merry Christmas. Happy New year.
The trooper is literally stealing money from people on the side of the road for an "infraction" that's not even a crime and this video gives the appearance that the trooper is some kind of hero needing prayers...😅 This is how conditioned people are nowadays, knowing that our Forefathers shot the same type of men in our history as this trooper. 😅
@twiztidnation5014 You do understand that a cops job doesn't even hit the top 20 most dangerous jobs in America, right? I personally can't think of a good reason I would need a cop to save me from anything or risk his life for me. Troopers belong to the Department of Revenue branch of most state governments. They are "risking thier lives" for money...
