If you want penetrating ammo get Underwood 38 sp +p 158 gr semi wade cutter I get 1,125 fps from my smith 642 it penetrate 6 of 1gallon jugs water and 2 inches in carpet backstop
Hopefully Holosun starts to make their new SCS for the smaller guns, as these are direct fit to the Glock MOS platform with more direct fit platforms promised, with a 10 year internal battery and solar.. I'm going to put one of these little 507k in Green on my new Beretta APX A1 Carry, unfortunately, I do have to use a plate to mount it.
Hi, I’ve ordered a few things from them. Overall It’s been ok. That optic wouldn’t adjust to the left so I had to return for warranty, they replaced it…idk if I can blame optics planet. I’d order from again..thanks for watching…Jon
@@Hitchhikingpossum there are so many options and it all depends on what your budget but I've had nothing but tremendous experience with Crimson Trace cwc 202 lights. They're basically bullet proof and more than bright enough for home protection. Only around $100 and comes with an optional pressure switch.
@@p.f.droney8973 I have a crimson trace railmaster on my sbr. It’s great. I figure 100-160 for a good mount and light. I just don’t like the strobe function, I hate clicking past that to a bright light. I have a olight for my edc. I’ll check ct website. Thanks. Jon
Cheapo stinko Ruger SR 1911.. I tired several of these SR1911s including that 9mm. Super sloppy nasty gritty slide to frame fit and some of the worst casting jobs I ever seen in a 1911. Ive seen Philippine 1911s made in some guys back yard with a million times better casting job than the SR Stinko Ruger. My biggest problem with it is the price. I wouldnt pay over $350 bucks for it.

I love my 365XL with the 507k x2 in red but really want the green for my eyes. Did you find a slimline holster yet? I know a guy locally here in Missouri that has a website you can check out.
Thanks for the video. I just ordered one and should have it in a couple weeks. I bought it for EDC, hopefully I don't regret not getting a slightly smaller (but more expensive) EMP. It would have been "logical" for me to buy one of the "wonder nines" (CSX, Hellcat, Shield, etc...) but they really don't excite me like a 1911 does.
You’re welcome…even on days I don’t carry mine I usually look at it for a few min. It’s beautiful for sure. Nothing beats a 1911’s curves. I wanted a emp or a sig ultra carry but hundreds more…I hope you update after you shoot it.

I have one. Its a great gun I just can't figure out what purpose it serves me. Kinda too big for carry with limited capacity and too small for a duty weapon. What are your thoughts?
I bought it because my buddy has a sig ultra 9mm 1911. He bought a Ruger sr1911 and said it was more accurate for everyone who shot it vs sig. I love the look of a 1911…the weight vs capacity isn’t good but a 43 is 6, 9 with an extension. The mags I have hold 9 and feed fine. So I carry it 8+1 and 9 in 2nd mag. I’ve only carried it twice, it’s cold on my side. If you’re into 1911’s have the extra $ and don’t get upset if it’s scratched up then I’d not hesitate to use it as a daily…
@@Hitchhikingpossum Its an excellent gun. I got mine a few years back for $700. At that time I could have got the commander size 9mm for the same price. I kinda wish that was the way I went. But like I said its great.
The what works cheap think tank. Oh ya it was on sale. Like I said I wished I would have gotten the commander size when they were the same price. I think I could have gotten some more use out of it. This is probably still the nicest one in my collection
The one I received from optics planet wouldn’t adjust left…I contacted holosun and sent in for warranty replacement. I got a new one sent back to me..i went to range yesterday and it all went fine and it’s zero’d on my 365xl…reliable and accurate…it’s my edc now. This is my 2nd optic from optics planet…both holosun. I’ve always been iffy with electronics longevity

If you like circle dots, look into the 407co x2 . They only make it in red right now, but it's an 8moa circle only. Perfect sizing for a defensive handgun. Just trust me
Some nice pistols. I have the Lightweight commander in 45acp and was my first 1911. Its has some play in it compared to a Springfield Armory 1911. But never had any failures. And I like that it has some serrations in the front straps

I love those Ruger Officer models, they’re beautiful and are so nice in the hand. I’d be curious, as I wonder if they’re actually both black anodized frames, but represent variances in production dates.
I checked about a week after that video. One is black anodized, the other is grey Cerakote. What’s weird is the grey looks black and black is lighter. I got rid of the darker frame one.
Hi dgn883, I got it a few months ago. I found it online for 429 new. I had a 1.0,2.0 and plus all at the same time. I shot back to back and I like the 2.0 the best. More accurate for me. I know everyone is into capacity…you’ll love plus if you hold it.
