Rob - I came across your “ Round Midnight” video and loved your playing. I too play chord melody - but you take it to another level. Thanks for sharing your talent - it’s very inspiring.
Thanks, overall this has been a great guitar for me. Lately I've been playing my Comins GCS-16-1 more for live stuff because it has a laminate top and is a little less prone to feedback, compared to this Eastman model which has a carved top. Lots of my guitar buddies play Eastmans as well.
Your sound is wonderful! Besides the Comins GCS-16-1 & the Bud 10 are you using anything else in between your guitar and amp like a Flint Strymon Reverb unit or another brand that has delay ect ect...?
Thanks! The guitar is plugged straight into the amp. Recorded with a Sennheiser e906 mic close to the amp and a Rode NT1 mic closer to the guitar to capture some acoustic sound. Then I added a little reverb using Logic Pro.
Thanks. I used the amp match feature, which also takes into account the specific guitar used in the recording. I saved the preset on ToneCloud but since then I changed platforms and no longer use the software, so I can't remember the name of the settings. Sorry.
