This is how i remember FF7 sounding, as I first played it on my P1 200 MMX with 32MB ram and 4GB Voodoo. I think a version of XG came in the installation disk?
Companies like Yamaha, Boss, TASCAM and others put so much into their electronics in the late 90s and early 2000s. In some ways it seems like we've gone backwards. This hardware is phenomenal.
Just timestamping my fav songs don't mind me 0:09 Main/Ending Theme 1:20 "Take a Dive!" 18:06 "Hole in Ten" 25:51 "Attack of the 50-Foot Lemmings" 36:33 "That's Right" 45:11 "Alpine Assault Course" 58:13 "Fore!" 1:09:06 "The Bean Machine" 1:20:50 "Land Ahoy!"
I had to use ChatGPT for this, but essentially the text on the t-shirt says "Слава Україні!" at the top and "Героям слава!" at the bottom. In English, this translates to "Glory to Ukraine!" and "Glory to the heroes!" respectively.
@@PixelRefresh lol just the visible ones.. haha great video, i've just been on ebay to look for obsidian.. and there's a copy on there going for £21 and it's a budget re-release.. not even an original. unbelievable.. i think with tony buying them all up he's inflated the price of those remaining. lol
In case this helps anybody: my mouthpiece stuck on the WX5 when I put it in the case over a decade ago and don't touch it. I got a hot gel pack, wrapped it around the mouthpiece and left if for 40 minutes, to gently heat. This freed things up enough to twist and pull. Really hoping to get playing my WX5 again, had to give it all up over a decade ago with jaw pain. If I can find the "recorder style" mouthpiece, then I think I could use an expression pedal for vibrato and not risk jaw issues. I bought a MIDI thingy recently (Akai APC64), gave me the idea to use MIDI pedals, to give me a hugely expressive controller that I'm not starting from scratch with, like I would be with a keyboard.
Got loads of SNES and Game Boy games from these guys back in the 90s. Every time I went in to the city centre I gave them a visit, they were always very kind.
Quite likely the best shop in Derby. I visit every time I'm in the city, there is new and amazing stuff coming in there all the time, and Jane and Rob are a lovely and knowledgeable pair who know everything about what they're selling. Most days you come in you'll see them testing games and consoles to make sure they work, and you are guaranteed to find something interesting in every corner of the shop. If you read this comment, I beg you to take a look any time you're in the area.
At least 80% of my retro catalogue has come from Retro World (all the consoles I have bought especially). A fantastic shop that I always enjoy visiting

Love the shop, I pop in most weeks and I alway have my son in tow who has contracted the bug from me for retro game collecting (although I am the one paying lol). Keep up the support for your local retro stores before CEX takes over.
Astomishing real. I'm a professional keyboardist and everybody allways tells me my sax and harmonica solos are so authentic since I do the proper pitch bends and expressions using velocity switching or modulation and use mainly tge Roland U220 SN-U110 PCM Card's "FF sax"(growl) which I've sampled into my Fantom. What sound generator did you connect to? Was hoping to get one since I don't have the lung capasity to play real sax. Possible to start "sax" from scratch on this awesum instrument? U
Omg that music. That's what nostalgia is. I remember getting this for Xmas with brand new ps1 after seeing it advertised and after playing it i fell in love. I've played everyone since on every console.
@@PixelRefresh Not in particular. I do want all of them eventually, but you can break up the videos of the different sections to one or two a week. Also, maybe you could take a few seconds in between each demo (let the reverb/effects completely fade out before going to the next one), it would really help me out.
Wow... please release the rom for broken sword 2! The community can finish it if necessary. So amazing to find a game that was nearly published and was left in the records of time until now. I am about to buy broken sword 1 on the gba and experience it for myself lol. I love gba games and own quite a few, so seeing a full "port" of such an amazing pc game is a wonder all in itself
Built-in, it does not have all the presets, although from Yamaha there is the DX7 expansion pack: europe.yamaha.com/en/products/contents/keyboards/arranger_workstations/genos2/welcome.html DX7 Pack This pack adds to the preset Voices, completing the collection of 128 original Voices from DX7.
