People acting like they can plug in anybody and get christian numbers but completely overlook what Christian does to defenses and how that opens everyone else up. Jordan can run but teams dont have to base their whole defense around stopping him at all because he isnt a threat to score on the ground AND in the air. It isnt nearly the same thing and it matters immensely. Its like a team losing their sole deep threat receiver will have the defense step up and not worried about anything over the top
Whats missing is there was never 7 avengers. It was always 1. And I'm noticing a pattern. It's not just an elite qb that's needed to win. Mahomes needs Kelce. Hurts needed Brown. Burrow needed Chase. And Brock needed Christian. Everyone thinks it's qb, but i think we have the formula backwards.
From kc and absolutely 💯 have no intention in paying extra taxes for teams to get a new stadiums especially when I don't follow either. Stopped watching when they started taking a knee. They can pay for it out of their ridiculous paychecks. Kc did stay strong the people living here voted and agree we aren't paying for it. They want to leave go and good riddance we got more important shit to worry about then our sport monkeys refusing to play here. Your entertainment tjats it no one's gives a damn about you because we live in completely different worlds then the rich, famous and elite
I don’t know what else or for how much longer we have to see Justin fields before people realize he just isn’t that good. All the measurables but just isn’t good. Some guys have it some guys don’t. I’ve been saying he suck’s for about 4 years now
Can't afford to go to a game or park but we should pay for rich peoples businesses... america where we believe in socialism for the rich and capitalism for the poor. Bail out all the rich is true capitalism lol
There are a lot better things that our taxes in Kansas City can go for than a stadium, as much as I love my team, I also care for my city's well being. Better roads, better transportation, and for people to be able to not sleep on the street.
Thats not quite true. They are moving to Kansas who have provided the Chiefs with the funding and a far better business attitude. They are going to build a sports/entertainment/ media environment that will rival and exceed the best best of new stadiums, and you are talking about incorrect facts.
The problem is mainly with the Royals my guy. We didn’t want to pay for a stadium to be built downtown because 1. We dont want one there and 2. It would have only made the Royals owner a lot richer. The chiefs were just tied in the middle of it but they are trying to renegotiate with the county to keep them there and make a better deal. Both teams already have a great space to play (Truman sports complex) so why move it? Making a downtown ballpark would just made the space crowded and remove a lot of people and buildings/small businesses from the area. Can you believe that part of the proposed bill we rejected had money in there to build a office building next to the ballpark for the Royals? Hell no us taxpayers are not going to pay for their freakin luxury downtown office building. They really thought we were going to vote for that.
I actually 100% agree, Bryce needs to sit and learn. He’s not like C.J Stroud, rarely anyone is. He’s not just going to boom immediately give him a real shot and then evaluate him.
This goes back to what Brady says, Young QBs shouldn't be starting as soon as hey are drafted, like he said in his time a drafted QB would be 2/3rd string behind the Old Guard QB and learn from the coaches and the old QB, and eventually within 2-3 years be given the reins of the team, maybe even give him snaps during blowout games and such
It was voted down because it was coupled with the Royals plan to move downtown. Something that just doesn't seem feasible. There's already next to no parking downtown and at the time, the Royals weren't doing what they're doing now, winning games. If the Royals bring home the World Series trophy again, they might get what they want and then the Chiefs will most definitely get what they want because they're winning and bringing home the Lombardi's. No city in their right mind wants to build or renovate a stadium for a team that sucks and can't win. There's no money in losing. Lol.
That was a terrible decision and we should have passed the tax. The chiefs wanted to add a rolling roof to the stadium so we could host the Superbowl some day.
It had nothing to do with the Chiefs. It was the Royals wanting to abandon the stadium they are currently in (whose renovation is still being paid for), and tear down some 20 city blocks to build a stadium in downtown KC. Fortunately, they are working to get funding for just the Chiefs in the next vote.
It’s not that we couldn’t afford to, it’s that we refuse to. Why tf would us tax payers pay for it when we can barely get the stuff we actually need in this city.
Idk if I’d say Patrick got better without Tyreke… it was Pat’s worst season efficiency wise during the regular season last year. He obviously turned it around for the most part in the playoffs but that’s a lot smaller sample size.
The Royals owner and his wife talked to KC taxpayers crazy. Told us to basically fck us, even though we've been footing the bill and they haven't won in years. So leave. Bye. But the Chiefs aren't going anywhere. We love them, and they love KC 🏆
This is false information, the voters of Jackson county voted no... The Chiefs want to stay... That's why there's another vote coming up in November for the Chiefs and the Chiefs alone The royals are trying to move downtown when that is the main reason why people don't want that to happen and that is why people voted no...
They wanted the city to actually pay 310 million in taxes, really they were looking at over 500 million to redo the stadium. P s. They rent the parking lot in the off season for $$$. They make fists of cash.
