Bus run from Derry, drives you up donegal coast as far as malin head, stopping at every wee local bar on road, bring your own for bus, buy a pint at every bar, return back to Derry, make your own criac
I hate flying so I used to cane me mate's sedatives, but the once I got bumped up to first class on a long haul flight to Bangkok so wanted to make the most of it as never been in first class before. Unfortunately the unlimited bar on the plane was calling my name and I got absolutely off me head. Ended up waking up after falling asleep and woke up with beer all down my shorts and the bloke in the seat next to me said "Oh, it's awake, this is why people like you aren't normally allowed in first class." And in embarrassment all I could muster to say back to him was "It's beer, not wee, I've not wet myself" haha
Do not pay your tv license 😂 unless you are watching live tv/bbc iplayer or catchup tv you don’t need one. If you say you watch Netflix they won’t ask for a license.
I have no idea how I landed on this podcast. So RU-vid music just kind of threw it onto my phone. I'm only listening because of your accents- what's the crack? 🤣
Mate, that's a really good episode. At 41:15 you wrapped up the comedy talk.....it was really interesting.......an episode on your journey would be interesting. Fred Cooke that night in the Devenish....I still laugh at his guitar play!
Really interesting to hear from the unionist point of view. Considering it's only just up the road and we're all on a small island, people in the south know very little about the unionist community. Really all we see are the huge bonfires, teenagers throwing bricks at the police and burning effigies of SF politicians and Irish flags. I'm sure that is just the extreme element, what the average unionist thinks is far more interesting. Personally I don't get the Orange Order, I don't know how an organisation that discriminates against colour or creed is allowed to operate in this day and age under UK law (or Irish law for that matter for those in ROI), it's an outdated organisation that should be forced to either open it's membership, or be banned.
Hi Andrew, this is my number 1 pod and I watch/listen to them all every week. You have a great interviewing style. Would love to hear you thoughts on every now and then interviewing normal Joe soaps who have set up their own business, to see how they started, how are doing now and where they plan to go with it. I think you would be great at getting compassionate and motivational story's.
