The bible like all other religious books is fiction, brainwashing these kids into believing the contents should be a crime. All war and chaos in the last 3000 years has been caused by religion. When will we learn and just stop. Base life on nature, science and reality.

This is during a time when we know several civilizations, including the Egyptians, recorded their own history. We know who was Pharaoh during this time period and they didn't know they drowned.

God doesn’t make mistakes, he allows freedom as freedom is necessary for love, which God is by his very nature. God doesn’t commit genocide, people commit genocide. The relationship God has to creation is most similar in human terms of author to book. If an author chooses that a character must die for whatever reason he is not morally responsible for that death as if he were a murderer. God gives the gift of life freely and we are not entitled to it. For God to withdraw His gift of life is not in any ways comparable to killing. Murder is bad, because as humans we have no authority over the gift of human life. When it ends, nor when it begins. Not because there is no good reason in the divine plan for sin or death, but because that is the proper authority of God as author of life. If I decided out of the goodness of my heart to give you an allowance of 50$ a month, and because you abuse that money in some way I decide to stop giving you that money, I am not guilty of having stolen that money that I never gave you, as you were never entitled to it in the first place. It is the same for God giving us life. He is author of creation, yet chooses that it better that we be free and capable of giving genuine love to God and one another, than to be deterministic automata incapable of love.

Only an abuser would say you can choose to love me or I will torture you for an eternity. There were children that suffered because of his authored annihilation that didn’t even know how to love him or couldn’t even make an educated decision to do so. The reason why an author isn’t morally responsible if a character dies in a book is because it’s fiction. If it had real world consequences, the author is responsible as in Hitler’s book. You say a god take away a life because he gave it is similar to saying a mother can off her child at anytime. This “all knowing” god should have abstained from giving life if he knew it was going to go bad. But once a gift is given it is no longer his to take back. He could have just caused infertility instead of drowning everyone. Your claim about humans have no authority over life and death is wrong. Humans make those decisions regularly. There are lots of more ethical things this supposed god could have done. And he truly was the was all loving than he would love those who don’t love him back because true love isn’t conditional and he wouldn’t feel the need to author their demise. Jesus called us to love our neighbors. Love does include calling out sin and guiding others towards improving their lives and growing in faith but you’re not gonna do that by being unkind.
