I think these series are influenced by Eurotrash that we had on MTV in EU. I mean the editing and sort of alternative anything. All the fashion was also here in Iceland, even though we were very isolated. It's weird to see all of this now,
I see this here and remember right away the Eurotrash with Sean-Paul Gaultier and some other hosts that took ant bad taste there is and made it look fun. Early 90's Jean-Paul was heavy into rubber and it showed on his fashion. I checked again now and can see that there has been uploaded some of those 135 episodes that were made but last time I checked, they were always banned on YT.
Everyone is focused on stupid outrage online. I see people getting more upset over the content of tv shows made 30 years ago than getting upset about the patriarchy, abortion rights and sexual assault. It is ridiculous. We should be out in the streets and bands should be protesting.
@wildmarjoramdieselpunk6396 I Love it, too! As an 80s baby, I was a young girl taking in Gen X culture such as this, and thinking they were the coolest 😎 people to ever Live. I still believe that! Millennial culture changed everything and not exactly for the better.
@@wildmarjoramdieselpunk6396 Yes! It's like those were. Eurotrash was the most out there MTV content in EU early 90's. Would be like having John Waters and Marilyn Manson going through their interests.
Can’t believe I just saw keano Reeves with a black Norton Commando 850 almost the same as my Fathers one he refurbished in the 70s into the early 80s. That was the first Motorbike I ever saw as a kid and brings back very happy memories. If it’s not an 850 it’s a 750 and a classic British bike. That’s cool as fuck and he plays bass and likes Joy-division bass player Hooky so he has great taste in music and bikes.
I remember it was kind of hipster/funny to rip on meditation and yoga people during this time. Like in the opening? And there was "Feel This Book". Oddly, most of that stuff has now triumphed on RU-vid. Just an observation of the times.
This seems a few years ahead of Death Proof which seems to have quite a few elements of! And is that famous S. Cal announcer, Larry Huffman between the segments?
