Great run! Congrats. How do you know where to go when you're on course and not miss a turn? I see some course volunteers, but a bunch of turns without anyone. The parkruns near me don't have many people, and I don't know the courses, but I like to run fast.
It's usually marked out pretty clearly. You can also grab the gpx file from the website and quickly upload that through the Garmin create course page (there's a tiny import gpx link when creating a new route) and within minutes you can have it on your Garmin (if you use Garmin of course :) ( Stick your Garmin on the map page and you'll see exactly where to go as you run just in case the course isn't obvious on the day.
Small world - My folks actually live nearby I've been there loads of times as a child amazing beach. I'll give the park run a go next time I'm visiting them! Thanks
Stop clearing your nose so much, goddam how much snot to do have! Never in my years of running did I have to expel so much fluid, In fact I usually never do it and I run 18's.
Thanks for letting me know about this! Might bring out my competitive side lol. I haven't trained specifically for 5k for a couple years as I've been doing sprinting - was close to 17 min before then... By the way stability seems pretty decent and it's a good quality video 👍 And of course congrats on the good time and first place :)
Chris PT Thanks mate, I tried to keep it full 1080 when I downloaded it & uploaded it. The time was a pleasant surprise as I've been doing ultra marathons that tend to slow me down!
Heh Miko, good to meet you this morning. I suggest downloading the GoPro Studio software from the GoPro site. It's free and pretty good up to a certain point. Loads of tutorials on RU-vid too! Have fun. John
No worries, no I won't be there this week but will the next one. Have you started with GoPro Studio yet? It's a great way to learn editing from scratch.
