Just finished shooting footage of "Great Southern" passing through Menindee NSW today at 1315 [some 2-hours early0 en route to a stop-over in Broken Hill.
I had a friend who was on that very last Sunlander. He voted Campbell Newman and his sorry excuse for a government out of office at the 2015 Queensland State Election.

Nice clip. Did you manage to catch what the wording on the headboard was? Interesting. though, the last Brisbane Limited on 11/02/1990 also left Roma Street with 3 locos. Is 3 the magic number when it comes to final runs I wonder?
