I am so sorry for your loss, no one should ever have to go through that. Today is two months after I lost my one month old daughter too, nothing can prepare us for something so drastic and traumatizing and painful
She would be TA if she punished the daughter, but she is for not giving the husband a heads up. He woke up and the kid was gone and the screen was off the window. He panicked, and him insisting that she needed to be punished was a stress response from adreneline that had nowhere to go. No one needed his permission, but why wouldn't she just casually mention this to him so he was in the loop?

I live on my own, so, in theory, I can have whatever meals I want to have - the options exist for me to have curry or kebabs for breakfast and cereal for every other meal, watch all kinds of things that other people don’t like, whatever - if OP is weird, what does that make me? Not that I do have curry or kebabs for breakfast - but I no longer live in other people’s houses, living by other people’s rules, most of which have no place in modern society! How many people believe that cereal is a complete breakfast in its own right or put powdered milk on cereal? Now THAT’S weird!
So your son is married with kids when he invites you on a Father's Day train trip. But when you show up he's replaced his wife with another blonde who looks just like his old wife. While it is your house your rules, the things mentiond by OP which the daughter does are normal, she isn't a clean freak the others are just unhygenic.
Even if it's not a big deal, it's ridiculously disrespectful. I would feel the same if I spent so much time making something to enjoy and it was just ruined or taken. And before I get the "oh she had them out" or "she could've just eaten them" that's not the point. It's incredibly rude to just eat the entire plate especially without even asking.
