On trench sinks, we only use black mamba to hold them in place. We have been using mamba for the last 5 years without a failure on any of our sinks. On kitchen sinks, we do put extra support to help hold them in place, just in case the mamba does ever fail years down the road.
The original project was not supported correctly. Dekton needs a extremely good foundation under it as it is a hard and brittle material. It is a nice hard surface that can take the sun and exterior environment in good old NY state.
The adhesive we are using in this video is integra. We currently use seam lock pro by big dog adhesives because it is more cost effective, so far it seams to be holding up just as well.
