Thanks for this wonderful tutorial on 3 part harmony. My question is what to do with a passing note. For example, here is a melodic phrase C D E, C chord goes with it. D is the passing note. I can put a G under D so it won't clash with it. C and E would clash with it. But that's just two voices. Thanks
Hey there! Thanks for the kind words. If I got your question right, yes, you can put that G under the D. The G over the D melody will show the dominant chord.
i jusy got one recently very nice guitar.... recording king makes the most affordable solid wood guitars and they are very nice :) just curious how did you lower the action?
My tuners from those grovers 18:1 rusted almost completely in half. I've never seen so cheaply made tuners. ps. What strings are you using and did you change your bridge pins? I've tried ebony for bassy and i've tried bone for my twangy not sure if I can tell much a difference.

I just bought one. Absoltely love the feel of the neck; its profile, finish and the fretboard. Setup was near perfect, right out of the box. No sharp fret ends, and immaculate, faultless finish. Totally happy!
Glad this video popped up, subscribed. I hope you have bluegrass content. I recently aquired a Sigma by CF Martin DR2. The previous owner said he has had it forever and that its made in japan and its from the 70s, He thinks around 78. All I know is it is the best sounding and playing acoustic I have ever played. I am not really an acoustic player as my main instrument but it might be soon. Anyways as far as I can tell from binge watching videos about acoustics and Sigma guitars, it looks like mine has solid rosewood top sides and back, when you look inside the guitar you can see that its rosewood and that line on the outside of the guitar on the back that looks like maple that is a veneer on a lot of guitars to make it look like the back is 2 pieces of rosewood. Well that aint a veneer you can see it on the inside of the guitar actually splitting two pieces of rosewood. The fretboard is very dark and looks like a slab of ebony more than it does rosewood. Could it be ebony? I didnt even know they put ebony boards on acoustic guitars if it is ebony. The serial is 87100487, i heard that most of the serial numbers on Sigma do not give year codes or much info at all, reminiscent of Jackson Bolt on neck guitars made in Japan from 1996-2012. all them serial numbers tell you is that you have a bolt on neck Jackson made in japan between 1996-2012 lol. Thats a huge can of worms with Jackson owners and sellers. The jackson serial numbers I am talking about all start with 96 97 or 98 and if there is 6 or 7 total digits that means you have a 96=2012 MIJ Jackson bolt on, most are actually made in 2000 or newer though because a lot of the Jacksons in the late 90s mij still used the old serial number system to add more confusion. I collect MIJ Jacksons and it sucks having to tell the seller they are way off on their guitar they are selling. A lot of the sellers think they are worth more if they are from the 90s and think you are trying to tell them its a 2007 or whatever to get it cheaper, very frustrating. You can go on reverb , fb marketplace, guitar center or any place that sells used guitars and search Jackson, You will find plenty that claim to be a 96 97 or 98 and most all of them are post 2000 and many of the models were not even a model that was available in the late 90s. Also there is online Jackson websites with entirely wrong info and even have serial number decoders that tell you you have a late 90s Jackson and then people or sellers are convinced of the wrong year. Drives me nuts , you can almost always find the neck build date and body date stamped on them with other info too in the neck pocket, thats about the only way to get a really accurate model year. I am a Jackson freak nerd and I can usually tell what year within a year or two by , things like hardware color, type of toggle switch, and by what pick ups and which bridge it has...etc. Damn I just wrote a book. Sorry

Hey there! Ah you can ignore it, I probably had an eq that I used to use on my masterfader, and it was bypassed anyway. So you can ignore it and delete the plugin on the master fader
Oh yes, I think they changed the page. Which one are you having difficulties with? I Know that for Amplitube, you'll download their plugin manager and, from there, download amplitube, but you'll need to do all the create user stuff
I learned waltz time from listening to and learning Jimmie Rodgers songs. He is one of my favorite artists. I hope to record a tribute album at some point. If anyone wants to get in on it let me know.
