As a young person Australia needs a massive recession. House prices are out of control and the costs of good and services is high too. All could have been prevented if gov allowed normal business cycles to play out. The predicament we are in is because of gov and CB’s response to the GFC. They dealt with a debt problem by dropping rates to zero and creating more debt 🤪 . The if unintended consequences and self interest is playing out
Common sense. Aussies used to be battlers. Now we are greedy wannabe battlers. Still spending, still taking on massive debt. Begging bosses for more pay for less work. Time for a reset.
