Just a bunch of simple folks, enjoying their cars, and the work they’ve put into them ! Thanks, RickGTI….. 🌴 Sure is better than a lot of other things going on in our country ! 🇺🇸
I‘m born in Germany/ East in 1976.. former GDR. I love to listen to you guys and especially the torque of you diesel powered V6 TDI Touraeg. Sorry for the scandal years ago but #IDC about it. Great footage with legendary vin and awesome scenery chosen by you. You gained another Subscriber
Duuuude!!! I love this format. Gonna need a total break down on your rig. What are you using to monitor? I heard you mention raven eye for focus. Super interested to see your setup.
I was thinking about doing a little video just about that with the pros and cons of the current setup. It works decent but has a lot of shortcomings to cover and, for bigger commercial jobs where you can’t risk it, there’s a lot to learn to work around.
amazing shots, I know it was the second video but needs better sound (constructive criticism). You may have the best images but the bad sound on the guests side is a bit distracting. Congratulations on this amazing work!
Yeah it most definitely does. I think something might happened to what bit of improvements I had made to Vin’s audio track when I copied to the body sequence into the final sequence but it was 4:30am and I just didn’t have it in me to notice it or swap it out. I’ve upgraded to new in car cameras and mics though (DJI Action 4 with Mic 2) so hopefully that, combined with keeping windows up and off the throttle when talking, will help matters.

Very BTS-ish at the moment but all the elements of what you’re trying to achieve are there. When it does come to fruition, I’m not sure what I’ll enjoy most. The finished product or the process of getting there 😂 Side note: are you traversing the country in your SUV??
Haha yeah, I feel the same. Biggest thing I learned on this one is not to rush the edit, because there was a ton of fine tuning that didn’t end up happening to get it live on time to launch with Vin’s. 🙃
Might also consider signal loss due to the back hatch, then the metal swing gate with a metal backsplash and fold down table, then a wheel with more metal. Reducing the amount of material between the rig and your tablet / phone should help.
You are definitely right. When I shot Pat's episode the rig was on the passenger rear C pillar/quarter so it was closer and there was less material in between. Thanks for watching though!
I loved this conversation. I never really thought about how parallel VW modding and youtuber builds really were, but it makes sense. Also trying to explain all the things I've done to all my cars to anyone that isn't the most crazy of car people always make me feel like why the hell did I do all these subtle things to my car? Although they make me happy, so I guess I don't really care.
@@morethanmoreusa I definitely think you should do a few with Vin. I never knew he had been in PVW which I saw him mention in his video prior to watching yours. So there are obviously plenty more stories to be told and it couldn't hurt to benefit from some publicity from him too.
That photoshoot in the park was just👌 love this type style of video- a little bit of everything. Personally, I like that you left behind the scenes footage too- sets it apart-also gives me further appreciation of the many things that have to be consider when making this video.
