Can you please explain how to change the velocities? I can't get into the instruments bc I once again only have the pro version. It's so strange to me that when you have the pro version, you can't see core versions.... frustrating. I'm having to make ALL of these multis by ear.
I'm using the PRO version and not Core, and I can't activate a demo since I'm using Pro for some reason. Could you be so kind as to please explain to me how I can get the "change velocity" in 12:06 to appear like you have so I can modify my patches? I've searched about an hour's worth of Kontakt scripting tutorials and can't find it.
This is amazing! Great video, very cool. I only got into Silent Hill recently and played Silent Hill 2 and love it. The atmosphere of these old games is unmatched. I have a question, would you say Omnisphere is still worth it in 2024? I've been wanting to get it for the longest time but the price puts me off lol.
if you had to pick swing or swing more as a beginner user which would you say? it's a higher price is that because it includes what swing does plus more?? or is it more of add on?
I got a video I’d like to send you I’m tryna find a certain plug-in idk where he got that choir plug-in I think you might know what it’s from you got email I can send you it to
Far Out. I still miss your videos, came across your channel again while searching for a review today. I think I live in the same area as you did too. Would have been nice to meet you. 😑
Hi, are the legato patches good enough for runs? I see on other comments that CSS is more disciplined what does it mean? (Im new to symphony or string libraries)
Old vid but very helpful! I have a difficult time honing in my ears to reverb. 7H is on my short list but mostly the A/B comparisons were VERY helpful. I just went through my template adjusting with 7H demo with mixed sample libs and got them much closer... long way to go for my ears but major difference. I've been looking for something like this. Many thanks!
Some of this sounds like it’s great to fit 60s kind of songs. But some of them aren’t. How this possible i don’t understand. You sold me this btw. I have this for 3 days but i could not have time to play with it.
Excellent video, it covers elements that are not even covered on NI's videos. So glad you demoed the violins isolated. Question: What about round robins? Are there enough? Or do you get that gun machine effect if you played repeated notes on some articulations?
it's 2024 and this is still the first video I found that is exactly what I was looking for... 0:30 "but i found that industrial libraries, truly great ones, are a bit hard to find"
Wonderful explanation! I've been also struggling to understand this for a long time. My main sample library is Spitfire BBCSO. But for greater control of certain solo instruments, I bought SWAM which offers very dry, physically-modeled instruments. This video is the perfect primer for how to get those two wildly different libraries to match up with each other. Thank you!
It sounds a lot like a real flute, just not /exactly/ like one. This is partly because there's no automation on the vibrato/flutter/growl controls, and partly because the room IR isn't perfectly realistic. But in skilled hands this library is amazing, and layered with other woods in a full mix you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference.
Beautiful. I honestly prefer polyphonic; it has smoother transitions. With legato, or polyphonic legato, you have to be more precise to get a good transition.
