Pray for all yours and the kids experiences to become sanctified. Help it make them Stronger. I had hard stuff at a young age and it’s made me stronger.

I'm curious when people are in recovery and going through the steps how many people find a higher power that isn't god. I ask because I've seen the 11th step (depending on where you're reading it from) mention finding enlightenment and pray/meditate to that higher power. It almost feels with that step it's kinda assuming the higher power you've found is god.
I'm not sure how much success is found in recovery when you don't accept a higher power. I think after the first year a spiritual experience happens and you understand you didn't get there on your own. My belief is the steps came from the Bible. That offends some people and I hate that, but understanding it my own way with a true relationship with Jesus as I understand Him helped me. I was so ignorant before I wasn't open to digging deeper. I also knew there was more if I dove in head first and asked for it along with doing the next right thing, excepting life on life's terms and not going back.
Amen I was mad at the lord when my dad was dying when I was a kid but when I got saved the lord convicted me quick that we live in a fallen world as fallen men who r going to die everyday is a gift not owed praise the lord Jesus christ

Thank you for this testimony. We have a 26 year old daughter that is missing due to drugs. I’ve never even touched alcohol so this has been a confusing nightmare. Trusting God every day for her salvation.
This is such an amazing testimony. I literally cried and had chills listening. What a MIGHTY GID we serve. I am so thankful for his healing and unconditional love for us all.
Don't forget the psychology here boys. As a heavy addict currently, I watch what it is first. I guess the story format makes it appealing, don't need to see who just yet. Even when I saw it was a recovery thing, I subscribed; but I still now just go right past them based on your motivations, and my guilt for lacking them. It's funny because I love drug and addiction and crime stories, go figure 🤷♀️ I mean I'm not relevant here, but it's a very precise demographic, and I bet the psychology of marketing to it requires a very delicate balance, nuance. Nice work all the same guys 🤘
