What a disappointment you didn't even really show the end result. Put the hair on a pedestal comb it a couple of different ways.?? Injected hair when it's wet is amazing.
Dude you make it unnecessarily overcomplicated + cutting the base that way is likely to also cut the hair which is what you don't want to happen. Best way is to cut that piece of plastic which comes with your system to the size of old base (unless you buy from cheap store) - its easy since that thing is transparent. Then put the plastic on the new system and cut with razor. Seriously 5 mins and you call it a day, no markers involved lol
