@@Jeff-Suburbs-of-NYC I look at our entire southern Monmouth and northern Ocean counties as one. Springlake is very stately and Manasquan and Point Pleasant Beach very family oriented. Restaurants are many and varied.
Good idea, I will have to add some content around that topic. Thanks for watching and commenting. Are you looking to move to this area? Or already here?
...did you fly a drone through the house?? If so cool idea to be able to help give feeling and flow to the compression and release FLW used in his designs. Oh nope just saw reflection in the mirror lol Well done on the filming regardless and glad you posted this and i stumbled across it 😄
Minha filha está morando aí como Aupair precisa muito fazer amigos , está se sentindo sozinha , se alguém morar ai e puder ser amiga dela. Ela e evangélica tem 21 anos
Grew up here Wish I could have joined you on the tour and talked more about how special and unique Chatham is! Some of the best public schools in NJ by the way -- you missed that.
Hi there, thanks for watching and commenting. We would love to help you on this search. Please reach out and set up time to speak here: bit.ly/3jHEe73 Stay well, Jeff
@@MrPerson-oy4jd Oh wow, so you grew up and currently live there, that's the best recommendation you can get then!! Thanks again for watching and commenting it really helps people get a feel for the place. If you or a friend is ever in need of real estate services please keep me in mind! Stay well!
I don’t really get the explanation of having to look below your expected budget to adapt to homes being bid up over asking as something that should not deter you.
Hi Christopher, thanks for watching and commenting. Apologies if I haven't described this well, but my bigger point is more about the fact that many homes that you see being bid up are strategically / intentionally under priced in order to draw in more eye balls with the goal of getting much higher prices. This creates a true auction situation. So you need to know going in to a home if is price appropriately in order to set expectations of what might be to come. In essence you have to look below what your target budget might be knowing realistically the list prices are not reflecting the actual market values of what you are looking for. Happy to discuss further.
So nice to see not all NJ homes are clownish McMansions! This one is simply gorgeous! Of course being built in 1887 might explain it! The only thing I'd change is to turn that racquetball court into an IMAX style theater!
@@Jeff-Suburbs-of-NYC No, I live in Florida now but I visit yearly. The gazebo in the park by the firehouse, in High School, I made a few of the posts on the lower rales in shop class.
@@celticviking3150 When you are ready to move back just let me know! haha! That's so interesting about the Gazebo, now we know who is responsible for the high quality work!
@@celticviking3150 That's great, it seems their work has stood the test of time. Please keep me in mind if your friends / family that still live in the area ever need any real estate services. Thanks for watching and stay well!
You missed Cranford.....Nicer then a couple towns your mentioned . Closer to the NYC, affordable (all the places you listened are extremely expensive unless you are in the ultra rich category)
My aunt and uncle built their country home based on FLW's building concepts. It had the same feel as this home- beautiful, clean lines and woodwork, along with built-in furniture. After their deaths, the house was sold and the new owners gutted it, completely gutted it. What a waste.
This should be titled , If your a millionaire, heres a few towns to nest away from the riff raff peasants that encompass the rest of Nj and struggle to exist 😂
Although the allure of a brand new home is up there. Toll Brothers homes are over priced and with cheap accesories, furniture and just all black and white. No character whatsoever. The gutters are not hidden and cheap aluminum and/or plastics as opposed to fiberglass as well as the doors and windows. The stairs are short and stop almost at the entrance door not really a foyer space. Thanks for sharing.

@@Jeff-Suburbs-of-NYC No, 02108 Beacon Hill. In the early 70s I went from Downstate Medical Center to Stony Brook to Brookhaven National Lab and lived in the Heights. Then took a job at MIT in 77. What got my attention was the music you selected, after that of course Brooklyn Height did the rest. Cheers,

@Jeff-Suburbs-of-NYC new Zealand. I'm from New Zealand. From the far south east of the sth island of NZ. It is winter here. Cold & dark. I'm lucky to be a US citizen as my mother was born over there in Florida and lived there until maybe 10 & mostly raised in NJ. maybe one day I can buy a house in the states but not sure if or when. Can I ask you a serious question? Or serious ish ..What was better for the housing market? Time during Trump or time during Biden? Just in terms of business. People buying houses. House prices in your area and usa in general and etc.
Living in Westfield: step 1: have deep pockets 😂 new apts going for 4k, 800k minimum for starter home, might as well stay in NYC for those prices..at least you’re closer to the high paying jobs
Move to High Bridge. It’s the most western train stop. It has good schools, friendly people, many choices for restaurants, good housing, a nice park and playground. The train station itself is just off Main Street. The parking lot for train commuters is a short walk from the station. Walmart is in neighboring town Clinton(home of the Red Mill). West of Clinton, off I-78, is a diner where part of the seating is in a converted Jersey Central train car. Hunterdon County has alot to offer. The county has alot of interesting history.
If one works in Midtown can't beat Westchester into GCT. I grew up on LI and endured the hell that is Penn Station and the awful LIRR which has a notorious on time record and the Jamaica bottle neck. I was fortunate th ride Hudson Line for decades from Croton. Heaven compared to LIRR. Jersey if you can take a train to Penn might be ok, but the buse through Lincoln Tunnel to PA is hell.
