the margin is deep, the gingiva will swell and bleed after the crown in place. i only use burs for margin prep, i never have any problem. why spend money for this. it works the same way.
I use this camera and like it. It does require an active learning curve, though. It should be made for smaller hands, though. It's made for large hands. I love the caries detector aspect on occlusal surfaces that younger DDS tend to overtreat. Put down the bur. And reverse caries rather than the drill-and-fill mentality some dental schools teach. Root canals will be a thing of the past.
Is this procedure used during all extractions at this practice? I had all of my remaining teeth extracted in November. The first day was typical to having a tooth removed. However the second day my pain was minimal only requiring ibuprofen a couple time a day. I was greatly surprised at how minimal the pain was after having 17 teeth plus old crowns removed. Note.. I am in one of the course offered for those seeking snap in or permanent dentures.
In my experience doctor didn't position my head at all , I needed to do it myself. Also she have attached things to my forehead too. Now I'm bit sceptic was it safe and professional .. it looked noting like this very professional as shows on this video
In case of need of repair, the scanner can be repaired only in a few places in the factory in France or the USA. very impractical and expensive if warranty is over.
I would like to see in more detail how the handpiece gets autoclaved...does it get bagged/wrapped, does the nose cone have to come off? also, do the medicaments gets diluted or used in full strength?
