Hear about falconery, a hunting form most akin with nature and see the birds of prey being trained at the Eagle Sanctuary.
Look the majestic eagle in the eye and feel the whirr of its wings above you - the lightning quick peregrine falcon will also display its flying skills.
The display is accompanied by instructive and interesting information about, among other things, the life of the birds of prey, their culture and history over the ages - the art of hunting with a bird of prey - which is not only an oriental custom, it was also practiced by the Vikings
At the Eagle Sanctuary there is a unique photo exhibition with large colour photos showing situations from the life of the birds of prey never before seen
Vitus is magnificent! You have a great rapport with him, and it is beautiful to see him in flight and have contact with this huge eagle. Excellent video, thank you! Greetings from Silicon Valley, California, USA. Vitus er fantastisk! Du har et godt forhold til ham, og det er smukt at se ham på flugt og have kontakt med denne enorme ørn. Fremragende video, tak! Sounds like a seagull, eats fish, like a cross between a bald eagle and seagull. What a magnificent bird! The sheer size of them, they look like pterodactyls and dinos.
the strongest and most dangerous is the harpy for sure... same weight as steller basically, but less wings, more talons and stronger grip. one is for killing fish, the harpy is for killing animals that fight back like monkeys, sloth, and so... their wings are shorter so they maneuver better in between trees and are faster turning. I think the harpy is the top one, but not the most beautiful.
