What's the weight of those medicine balls?

If you haven't notice Tom stays tall on his delivery of the throw. He doesn't bend over or fall over at the waist. Strong left side helps stabilize the right side throwing action.

You never want to train to keep weight on the back leg in javelin- this makes the athlete pause and makes the hand drop with javelin point lifting badly. These athletes look like they are just trying these drills for the first time, and hopping to land with weight on back foot is asking for bad flight and elbow injury

''Higher off the ground'' is never a good idea for a javelin thrower

Thanks so much for this... Learning at age 60... Practice over and over and over again... But if you are having problem with alignment and aiming then you'd hv to take a step back and continue practising with the alignment and target aiming....
