Join me as I take on local competition in kayak bass fishing. Follow me this season as a rookie and watch me grow, compete and learn some techniques tips and tricks as well as other information.
I have buddies that don’t like finesse or spinning gear and I’m like dude you don’t know what you’re missing. Skipping a wacky rig under docks is the most surefire way to catch lots and also big bass anytime they’re up shallow. It’s one of those techniques where you can say yeah that’s a fish catch right there and sure enough you pick up the slack and you’ve got a fish
I saw a guy in a Hobie PA14 take in so much water the rear of the kayay almost went under completely. Glad you were able to make it out the water one time!
@@lifeunhooked surgeons knot. I'm pretty sure the cinching of the knot was destroying the integrity of the leader. I just learned the FG knot. I'll see how that works.
@@Kenthefishingstory I wouldn't mess with all those fancy knots, the uni to uni is the easiest to tie, while it might be a little noisier through the guides, it will not fail as easily
@lifeunhooked I just saw a video on all the line to leader knots and the data supported the FG knot and its great going through the guides. I gotta at least try it
