This channel originally started years ago to feature some WoW raiding videos, and videos of my family and kids. In 2013, I shifted the focus of my videos towards my experiences in motorcycling when I got my motorcycle licence. I'm really happy if you decide to subscribe to my channel! (^_^)o
2020 UPDATE: I'm not really putting much post-production into my uploads anymore, but I will still have riding videos from time to time.
That system was built specifically for the Multistrada's suspension system. However, if your bike also has a high end electronic controlled suspension system, chances are that the suspension manufacturer has some kind of upgrade.
It’s inspiring watching you pushing through. love the perseverance. I’m gonna need to challenge myself in a race once I get a bit more miles on this type of terrain 🤟👍
Nice! good to see you post again ZF.. I used to follow your vids back in the day when you had your Versys (still have my 13') and then upgraded to your Multi. I'm just east of you in Ferndale Wa.. crazy cold weather we went through last few days eh'!
Only just found this, have a 2012 multi, one thing have been told it should be urban and solo in ride mode as that is the highest setting, but still loved it, thanks and buy another.
Many thanks! As you say, it's an urban commuter but... a French couple, after a month long test ride around Morocco, went on a round the world trip on two identical Kawasaki Versys X 300 with no major problem, they only change their tires in... Japan 'cause their bikes are rather light. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AOIbCEaM3lY.html&ab_channel=MotoMagazine
F750 here, same problem. This microswitch has NOTHING to do on a motorcycle, it does the work from an electrical point of view, but is too weak for this use; there are many types of switches that can do the same job, but are way more resistant (I have a 1995 Virago with the original switch). It´s almost as if someone designed this to get damaged and receive service ... Just got a new one from Ascycles (29 USD) and will change it myself; there´s no way I´m going to pay 600 for this job.
Just a couple of things; How do you feel about your short legs? And I also felt like I was never going to be competitive in the races, but sticking it out and making deliberate attempts to work on my riding, rather than just going for rides has put me into a decent position. I haven't stood on the top step, but I've been on the podium a few times, and making all the races greatly improves your chances at a good overall score for the season.
I'm trying to take a page out of other skilled, but short, riders. @megs_braap is one great example of a rider I look up to for inspiration. Riding with a 30" inseam often means that I cannot rely on paddling my way out of trouble, but I need to apply a technique in a "do or die" scenario. Jeremy, I've seen you ride sumo and now on the dirt, and you are pretty impressive for someone who doesn't feel overly competitive. As for me, I'll just keep plugging away at things. It'll come together in the end.
@@zordflea Most days I do feel competitive for the class I'm in now. But I spent a lot of years just aiming to not finish last. I had to get serious about the gym just to get anywhere close to the front of the Vet Am class. Now I'm one of the younger guys in Senior Am, and I did pretty well this year. The problem is that there's always new guys that are even younger coming up.
We've all come from bashing our DRZ bikes through the woods, to having these European weapons. Pretty funny, as we consider our current bikes super amazing. It's hard to not have a plated off road bike.
Finally a video of VIHSS. They need more of these to advertise their hard enduro series. Will book a trip from Oregon next year. This year they rescheduled it into thanksgiving weekend and I am at Cancun usually during that holiday.
What a slog man! Good on ya for soldiering through it. Nice seeing what the B loop was all about. So different than our up island tracks eh? Imagine when you come ride this again in two years. Thanks for sharing.
