Can i distribute the ES units around the layout and just use cables and do the same thing? I need five modules total, and that seems like a good idea if possible.

Good stuff James. These units dim LED’s too don’t they, if too bright and wonder if 1) you can recommend companies doing UK signalling that will dim, do fades and hopefully use common positives. 2) Will these units also cater for signals that include theatre boxes and position lights? 👍
Hi James, cat you do a video on block detection please. Block sizes, do you include or exclude points, blocks within reversing loops, etc? BDL 168 verses ESU ? Any recommendations, thanks for your help !

How do you find laying the code 55 and how do you attach your dropper wires to it, I had a go with it when I first started and quickly changed to fleischmann

Great explanatory video. You mentioned that the YD8116 lacks a Loconet connection and all you need is to connect a track feed to the signal power side. Not sure I understand Can you clarify ? My goal is simply have the train stop when red . I'm using Rocrail in auto mode Thanks
James thank you for the videos on YaMoRC. I was wondering if they make a board for reverse loops? I have an n-scale layout with 5 reverse loops in it and will be using Digitrax and Train Controller for my system.
Great video. My only gripe is the use of the word "car" in the packaging. It would be more accurate to use the word " vehicle". I have never seen these types of system using cars because of the obvious size restrictions to fit the motor, electronics and battery.
This unit does not have loconet. You just out a DCC track feed to the signal side and then it gets its switch commands from here. You don’t need to connect loconet for it to work perfectly.
What is a detector with AppZ21 for? For display only? Cannot reference a route. The ideal would be to be able to make routes where the signals were referenced to the position of the switches and the occupancy detectors (track circuits).
Thank you so much for this video. I have an 82 years old neighbour who uses such Intellibox. He is overwhelmed with all functions available. He asked me for support (I am not connected to this topic at all, but work in IT 😉). Is there a way to program one digital lock for a drive, let’s say lock 48 drives for 9 seconds at speed 27 in one direction, stops for 10 seconds and returns (opposite direction) again at speed 27 for 9 seconds, then stops. End of program. Appreciate any help so I can support this elderly person. Thank you 🙏🏾

Where are these units drawing power from? Do you have to have the usb (?micro usb) plugged in to the Loconet unit to power them all? Cant see anywhere in the manuals about it!
I have Kato Switches #6 with the following motors. #2-503 & #2-504. Would this be the device I'd use to control these switch motors or would I require an additional component to make them work?
