Solid run. I wonder how bad boss will be now with the still hunt changes. With better routing at the start and a clean run overall you can probably get a 5:2x (if it's efficient). All depends on how slow boss is now.
Yeah most optimised boss kill I found prior to still hunt nerf was under 30s with only 1 teleport, only thing I can think of that'd match that with still hunt nerfed would be the grapple tech but no idea if that'd even work. Time should still definitely be able to be taken lower even with a slower kill using still hunt with the rest of the run properly optimised though
Random question as a Destiny 2 new player who's logged a bunch of hours learning raids and getting his light level up but still struggling to solo anything or do anything... How? I don't mean this in the flattering way like wow so good! (though it's true, very well done), I mean it sincerely. What's the exploit to move that fast with the sword? How do you not just get overwhelmed by adds any time you solo anything on hunter, when even as a warlock song of flames battle harmony prismatic or void cata with osmio I can't seem to keep ahead of adds in a dungeon like Warlord's Ruin on Standard and get overwhelmed quickly? What pieces of the puzzle am I missing that it seems EVERYONE knows but me?!? Why am I not doing insane damage or surviving anything or clearing adds or moving ahead of the pack?! Basically... how do I get good? Destiny doesn't explain shit to a new player :/
The sword movement is called shatterskating, plenty of guides on youtube if you search for it. As for ads it's mainly just stacking sources of healing/resist, devour on void, restoration on orb pickup with prismatic, matching resist mods on chest to whatever you're doing. Also important to learn ad spawns so you can deal with them as efficiently as possible, like in this run ideally I'll pretty much just be spawnkilling the ads that need to die and ignoring the rest with whatever sources of heals + resist I've got going. For example, in the room with the purple baubles I initially just tried to keep going with the rocket sidearm ad clear on stasis hunter and prioritised ads over the baubles. I was pretty quickly overwhelmed, so tried a bunch of different survivability/ad clear stuff for that room until I landed on devour/prismatic, as either would let me get good enough survivability to prioritise baubles over ad clear Also rocket sidearms are like the best general play weapon in the game rn lol, insane ammo econ and easily deals with ads even way underlevelled. Like this mission caps you at 15 power under, so pretty much any primary feels really weak, but run a rocket sidearm either matching the surge or with any damage buff and you're back to 1 hitting red bars very easily
@@Wingmeal Incredibly detailed, helpful, concise, assisting.. A pro at speedrunning and even a pro at being pro. Is that why everyone keeps saying "The Call" this and "The Call" that? And matching chestpiece and stuff is news to me, I knew about devour and stacking regen effects on prismatic but I don't know how any of these armor mods work at all (besides heavy ammo finder). Thanks, can't wait to try it out and see if I can't scratch my way through a solo run: I really wanna try to solo Warlord's Ruin!
@@SorastaeEven if you wanted to macro skates it'd honestly be worse for this 😭 some of the routes in this mission need different timings which really aren't worth macroing
