This type of movement mechanism only has one use case: Mount like a 4x4 array of extruders on top and you can print 16 objects at the same time without needing to move all those toolheads. Otherwise useless.

Hello, one question: Are the linear rails mounted straight onto the epoxy-granite/uhpc base or are there steel bars between the machine base and the linear rails that were grinded/milled flat? Thanks in advance

Remember you need a tank to store the hydrogen The bigger the tank the longer it runs so how much does the tank weigh that runs all day ? Dont get me wrong I love hydrogen but this is only half the story remember you still got to fill those tanks with hydro most places its still quite expensive and use fossil fuel to produce hydrogen (Dirty Hydro) and still not much infrastructure out there yet. Remember you can charge a battery in your garage ;)

OK so what STILL confuses me or what I can't wrap my head around is the volts/amps/watts. I get it that volts is the "pressure". But, as mentioned in this video, if you have 100 psi coming out of a super soaker squirt gun, it's going to be a thin, minuscule amount of water whereas if you have 100 psi coming out of a 1½ fire hose you're talking about a lot of water. Both "voltages" are at 100 psi, but the amount of water between the two is a massive difference. Would I be correct in saying that the voltage is the "pressure", the amps is the "volume of water" and watts would be the "size of the pipe" the volts and amps are flowing through? I hope I explained that clearly because it's something that's been bugging the living hell out of me for YEARS in trying to understand electricity through a plumbing standpoint.

To understand power, there's a few things I always tell people. 1. What context are you referring to power in? Are you analyzing the power at an instantaneous point in time or are you designing a system that can provide a certain amount of power? 2. You need to understand ohms law and a variation of ohms law V=IR (voltage = current*resistance) P=IV To entertain your analogy above: Your squirt gun - Voltage: analogous to pressure / This is variable - You pump your squirt gun as much as you want (100psi) Resistance: analogous to resistance caused by nozzle size / this is constant - you can't change the nozzle size, it is what it is. Current: analogous to flow / This is a dependent variable - it will be a byproduct of the two items above When you are calculating power, the hidden variable is Resistance. Voltage was variable (100psi is what you decided on) and the resistance was fixed - your current ends up being whatever the heck it needs to be. So when you calculate power (which is an instantaneous measurement), you are multiplying Voltage and Current - and the Current was whatever the heck it needed to be. In this example, we analyzed the power at an instantaneous point in time. Where this analogy gets tricky is, the squirt gun and the firehose are two systems designed to provide different amounts of power. Hope this helps

Almost correct. In this water analogy (* are my thoughts): * Voltage (Volts, V) is indeed pressure (Pascals, Pa) - the potential to move energy/water. * But what about static vs dynamic water pressure? * Current (Amps, A) is the diameter of the pipe (Meters, m). * But why not the flow itself? * Power (Watts, W) is water that is flowing (Liters per second, L/s) - higher pressure and/or a bigger pipe gives more flow. * But why not leave it as power (it's a universal concept)? * Resistance (Ohms, Ω) is the resistance of the pipe (clogs, material, length?). * But how is that different from the diameter of the pipe? * ... the more analogies you try to draw, the more confusing it becomes! The water analogy may be useful for explaining electricity to small kids, but that's it. It doesn't really go beyond explaining V=IR in a clumsy way. I think it's better to ditch this analogy as soon as possible and maybe even not to learn it in the first place. At some point, you'll be stuck trying to understand electromagnetic phenomena that don't have water analogies (or if they do, they're not easy/intuitive either), like electromagnetic fields, inductance, charge, alternating current, etc. There are also hydraulic phenomena that don't apply to electricity, like dynamic vs static pressure, turbulence, hydraulic transients (water hammer), etc.

im confused, i dont see how this device generates power, i see how it generates hydrogen, compresses and refeeds the cell.. but how is it converting hydrogen into a power source, when its just a flameable gas.. - there is no combustion motor attached to this product.. in fact, the pump is electric.. so this isnt a complete product.. but a piece of a product yes?

So when you look for a DC motor it gives you the maximum speed and voltage, from which you can find the motor constant k. Presumably R is whatever resistance you put between the voltage source and the motor, or if you don't put anything, then it is the motor's inherent resistance but that value is not typically made available. You could perhaps use power, P = IV, but because of the relation T = kI, you will get 0 power and 0 current for the stall torque. Also, motors list their no load speed at a given voltage and current. This would have to mean that under "no load," T is nonzero, because otherwise I would be 0, but is at its minimum value. Or we can probably think of "no load" as an ideal case that is never realized in reality, and that there should always be some amount of load. All in all, the information is nice, but it's not enough for practical use, say if I want T amount of torque at omega speed, can I achieve that with a motor rated at V voltage and omega no load speed.
