Really like the contrast between Kathleen Kennedy and James Mangold. One is clearly excited for these three maestros getting the praise they rightfully deserve while the other is naively waiting for their turn to be included with them

The title of the video sets her in a certain light. But when i detach from that idea, I see George making the call - whether for deeper reasons or not. I'm no 'woke' person. And I don’t know why people have forgotten about this: George Lucas had a clause in the contract to Disney that he would be the one to choose the director of the first sequel film. And he chose Jar Jar Abrams. It’s Jar Jar Abrams who ruined Star Wars and not Kennedy. He was the showrunner and made the template for the three films, even though he didn’t direct the second. Also it seems it was Lucas who wanted Palpatine to be the surprise villain in the end. That’s where Jar Jar and Lucas differed, cause Jar Jar didn’t want Palpatine again. But then he acquiesced and fulfilled George’s vision alongside his own vision.
Raiders was the best one out of the 5. A masterpiece. 2nd one wasn't very good. 3rd one with Connery was fun. 4th one with the alien plot was strange and not fun. 5th one was good but the lady who played Indy's partner I could have done without. I found her to be heartless and she almost got Indy killed in the beginning. Spielberg deserves to mention himself.
Talk about clickbait, there’s nothing wrong or mean spirited what Steven said. He’s right on the money. Kathleen Kennedy has nothing to do with the acclaim Indian Jones has achieved. That’s like saying the main secretary at Amazon deserves to be in the same circle as Jeff Bozos and his ex-wife for where Amazon is today.
Everyone of those people should be ashamed of pushing out the last 2 movies. Indiana Jones is a trilogy. George Lucas is billionaire I wouldn't be caught dead here. I'm enjoying the death of Hollywood. All they do now is repeat movies and don't even care about copyright rules now. I watch mostly Asian films now, and Godzilla minus one was awesome!
