I think my harp is broken. Coz i do really need air to make it sound. I just watched another breath on harmonica video from Gussow. Says something about similar than you.... But my harp doesn't do it. It just not sound. When it sounds.... It fill up my lungs quite fast. 😐 Damn i wish i had a good quality one to compare.
The arc in the finger helped me so much because I was unable to get the tip of the index finger and thumb to line up without it fatiguing my hand. The arc in the finger fixed that. Yeah holding the harp in both hands has taken my playing to another place! Great stuff Ronnie
Thank you for sharing the Blending idea! BTW I believe I noticed a Hollyland Lark M2 mic on your shirt and not anymore the DJI? Would you mind to spend a minute sharing your experience with it from a price vs quality perspective?
sure. I'd be happy to do that. For recording videos they're both great but for live streaming via phone, I've experienced some popping and crackling from both mics. The Hollyland Lark is clear and crips and the DJI has a darker more bass heavy response and many more options to control mic, record hard drive recording into mic etc. DJI is also much more expensive. For general recording, the Hollyland Lark is the winner due to how lightweight and easy it is to use it.
Ironically, as I've gotten older, I have become more self conscious about playing publicly. When I was a young kid and late teens "playing" saxophone, I was much more willing to perform for an audience. Now there's not a chance in spite of the fact that I know my skills are far better then they ever were before. That said, I'm sure this class will be great!
Great content Ronnie!! Thank you so much for sharing you knowledge! O have a doubt that I'm sure you can help. I have a dificult in changing the 2 draw to the 1 draw hole using tongue blocking. That's because you have to change the tongue position. This causes a serious delay on my links. How can I improve this?
Many tongue blockers default to pucker for the 1 hole. The only other option is to tongue switch which you're having a hicup with. Isolate those 2 notes only for practice. Let me know how that goes.
Thanks for your question I noticed that you covered the question later on in the clip so you played Am and you used a G harp then a d harp and I believe we can use a low tuned harp so I hope you may be able to do that to I have been with the subscription for a long time but I got robbed of all my money trying to help a scammer plus I am living with alot of pain busted back nerve pain and lost alot of teeth and this is my education thumbs up from me all the time thankyou Ronnie
