I’ve tried watching several videos to get the sneak deals on Legoland although I live here in Florida, I haven’t been able to afford to go so I figured I would try some RU-vid videos to help me know how to get the best deal. Your video was the easiest to listen to and the most informative. I did not know about the figurines trading that’s awesome, and I also would’ve never known about this inclement weather because we deal with that all the time the lightning and the shutdowns. your video is very valuable. thank you so much.
This is very helpful! I’m thinking of traveling while im paying off debt as it is a yearly goal. But as you said, we gotta make tough decisions. I can’t hit that yearly goal. If I travel my debt would extend to 2 more months. I have 6 months left!
@@Scarmans thanks for the kind words and great feedback. It’s like I always say, you’re making short-term sacrifices for long-term gain! And you are so close you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep after it and be proud of yourself!
Ebay has turned into a real schemeing gook of a website that thinks they can control and keep all communication100% in-house, presumably to try "protect" all the thick idiots suckered into bad deals from their stupidity. Or perhaps to try ensure their's no rare exceptions to their rules on organising purchases, as if the thieving gooks don't have enough money. = Ehhh. Wrong answer and not happening. It used to be real easy to use also, now it's getting harder and harder. Solution: Stop buying online crap.
Thank you for this video. Did he save 5's or 10's or 20's in the can, or was it just 1's and change. Did he count the money before he gave to the property owner. Thanks. Maurice
Hey Maurice! Great questions. According to my dad...my grandpa saved all his loose change and small bills (I'm guessing 1's and 5's) in that coffee can. The landowner was actually a friend and neighbor, so my grandfather would ask him how much for each parcel, then he would save up enough money to purchase 1-2 parcels at a time. Back then, the parcels were not very big, so my grandpa ended up buying over 20 parcels over the course of many years. He ended up owning about 3.3 acres of land!
Good question! Most of his money comes from birthdays, Christmas, and Easter. We don’t pay him an allowance but he’s done some small work tasks for others to make money. He’s also been fortunate to have been selected to do kids marketing studies and taste tests that have paid him money. I have a separate video on that topic (marketing studies/focus groups).
Wuuuuuu Jason I'm definitely trying this with my 3 year old cause his recently grown interest in money. If and when he finds 10c, his the happiest. You would swear he won lotto😂😂 Thank you and happy new year.
One thing I've learned from listening to the callers on Dave Ramsey -- it seems like the more money people make, the more debt they are in. They've succumbed to lifestyle inflation for sure!
ebay has turned into a real Garbage dump. When ebay first started out it was a Banaza, but over time Greed by the People that run ebay took over! There is no Customer Service to speak of, why bother with it!
Same, I'm finding non-paying buyers every week on eBay. eBay does nothing. Then they waste more of my time and place the relisting further down the list of available items. I'm so tired of eBay and their lazy disconnected executives. It's an unfriendly market to casual garage-clearing sellers. Then when I exceed $600, they hold all funds and send messages that I will not get my money until I give them my SSN. They are legally required to report to IRS. I am already required to report to IRS. But I am not legally required to send SSN or tax info to eBay. eBay sent the money they owed to me early the next year. You are so right. It's not fun anymore.
@@JasonBrownYourMarginMatters it is least the one at Disney world it is don't know about Disney land. It was put in the early 60s. It used to move up and down like the dumbo but age stopped that years ago. I think I was actually running the jumbo the day y'all were there. You see the woman that was our ride supervisor in the video she was running the Ferris wheel
Not sure what your talking about not being able to leave negative feedback for non payers. I just left a positive but SELLER BEWARE feedback on someones account yesterday when they did not payup after 4 days. It was easy and it stuck.
So Now After 2 Years eBay Has Gotten Even More Pathetic! See, What happened Was People Began Listing Items For $5 Dollars and Charging $120 For Shipping to Avoid the eBay Fees on Auction Value SO What eBay Came up With Is Charge End Of Auction Values On the Shipping Charges as well As the Auction Total And Tax Fees! NICE So As you Print your eBay Shipping Label At a Cost Of $55 and Your Item Sold For $30 You Are Being Charged On the Grand Total Including Your Shipping Fees That are an Expense Not an Auction Value But With all the Technology eBay Has the Purchase Shipping Label Is not Subtracted from Your Auction Total And The Seller fees and Tax Fees etc, And Then They Tell the IRS that you Made $85 Dollars And Your Dashboard Says You made $85.00 but your Payout After All the Fees Is $18 Dollars So after Packing Materials and Printer Cartridges To Print Labels and Gas to Get to The USPS To Ship Your Items You Got Got A Cool $5 Dollars, But eBay Has (Algorithms) Not So Advanced to Credit Your Sales For The shipping Expenses So Who Is the Criminals Now! Lately I was Amused At the Pop-Up Window As I list My Items that Ask If I would Like To Pay an additional $7.00 to make my Listing Visible to Buyers? (NO) I like My listing to be Hidden From The Buyers! I just Like Listing Items That Cost Me Money To sell Should Someone See them! This Is Right Up there with (If You Order Now) You Get a Second One 100% free Just Pay a Separate Fee That adds Up to a Second One, But Wait The More You Spend The More You Save? Ho How Does That Work? I always Thought the More I spend The More I spent But Well I stand Corrected? It's Not the Thousand Dollars I spent Its that I saved $19.00 Wow That's Awesome SO I need to Buy More To save even more? (correct) We here at eBay feel That Adding a Shipping Deduction is Not Lucrative For us Or the IRS, Our System Is Working Nice So Keep Listing your Stuff And Charge Lots For Shipping So We can Say You Made that money? Just Don't Ship the Items then You Did Make the Money! More And More eBay Scams, Craigslist is 100% free and No Tax and Your Items can be Visible For Free!
You could let him play ticket redemption games at Dave and Busters and win one at a profit. Another thing with games is you buy a few then try trading them with random people on offer up. Or buy games on offer up, play them, and sell it for what you got it and play for free.
I'm really hoping someone fixes up Ebay. I mean getting banned & being told they can't tell you why when you've done nothing wrong is unfair. I was selling video games & d.v.ds & got banned after my first sale. I asked why & i got told i was a " threat" I'm not sure how selling video games & d.v.ds make you a threat.
My tip for saving money at Legoland is to not go. I looked at the prices and decided not to drop over $400 for my family of 4, not worth it imo. We live 6 hrs from Orlando so it was kind of a last minute decision to go down there for a couple days. Probably would have been better if we booked in advance
I totally understand your position but when you compare the cost of Legoland vs. Disney World it might be much less expensive along with smaller crowds.
i have stuff sitting a long time and then when it sells i cant find it and my seller performance takes a hit ,and with the slow shipping and sometimes item never gets there goes to another home these last 4 months e bay dropped me from selling unlimited i had over 6,0000 items up so they chewed me down to so far 1700 its a basic store but for 20 years i was above the standard level but in the past 2 months im below and they make you feel like crap they even say we may stop you from selling and i have in the past year have 2 neutral and one negative and 377 of positive feed backs 99.7 positive feedback its getting a little ucked up plus i purchase like 1,500 or more a year but let me see the next few months sales have been very slow they may put sellers on the bottom of the listing in the items you are selling which will make it difficult to sell or be seen and the only way would be to revise the item to get it on the top well good luck all e bay sellers maybe the new year e bay will be nice to long term sellers and buyers ,come on e bay maybe 8 thousand in sales is not a lot for the year but if a 1,000 sellers stop selling that can add up to big money for you guys and if one thousand sellers a year stop selling on e bay that will be 10,000 in a short ten years can be big money well goodnight all
It is absolutely more government control. There should never be automatic anything, when it comes to your money. This is just another way of dumbing down American citizens that are already irresponsible with their life choices, because of similar government control measures that have been passed through the decades.
