I've always wondered what these cars - CLK, Gillet Vertigo and the NIssan R390 - do in these races when they always get smoked (when driven by the AI) but I tried all of them out with no extra tuning and I was surprised to see that if you drive well enough you can win against the big boys on all three of these. My experience so far is that the Vertigos only problem are brakes, the R390 seems much slower around fast curves like the Porsche curves and the CLK, well, the 2nd race tells the tale. But all in all I believe driving one of these 3 is the way to go if you wanna have a proper challenge that is still realistically doable. That being said I respect you a lot for going for the CLK for this one, even the most skilled drivers will usually go for the XJ9 or the 787B, maybe the R89 if they have won it yet and that's a shame because they usually end up smoking the competition especially if they also utilise tire strategy. It's rough to drive in this game and not lead the race, takes a lot of mental strength, good job. Man and what an exciting line up, everyones got a chance lol. I'm used to having one competitor and the rest don't have much of a say at all. Peugeot 1st in race 1, dead last race 3. I remember when I was a kid I beat these races in B-Spec and I hated the Pescarolos because they often pitted late or not at all lol. LOL I can't believe you beat Seoul on hard tires, 0 pits. One small mistake and you spin and it's game over, well done!
Just thought I'd mention exactly what this mod does here: 1. All* Beginner, Professional, Extreme, European, American and Japanese event races have had their lap numbers increased significantly, and some have had their tracks changed. 2. Leftover from the online beta the mod was developed from, all cars are owned and you start with 110 million credits. 3. All upgrades and cars are free. 4. Tyre life has been increased in most cases. 5. Any car can enter any event (although I will still stick to the original event restrictions and try to stay close to the same performance as the opponent cars) 6. AI skill is at its highest level from the start. *Original endurance and endurance like events (e.g. Formula GT) remain the same.
Pro tip: In many of the shorter races that only allows sports tires, buy the soft variant. It will definitely help with grip, and they don't wear out as fast as you might think. Also, turning off driving aids will also improve tyre wear.
I recently picked this game up again for the first time since the 2000s and I could barely manage silvers on these, this game really does not mess around. I will never beat half of those driving missions either... nice work
That Ginetta with some fine tuning is an absolute beast. If you bought the customizable transmission the top speed wouldn't have been an issue at all (it can do 350 with nitrous on a raceable setup, 400 on a top speed setup (with nitrous))
im firm believer that in eu4 quantity wins over quality in majority of cases. unless you get stack wiped each time you engage, your enemy will sooner or later get out of manpower.
Hey Mr Freeze. I was wondering if you would be able to show a strategy which involves using a remote explosive silent assassin Paris map with the guard who stands next to the river near the tower in the yard
