I am in screen printing since 1982. Now I need to print on glass tumblers and bottles. Is there any simple and easy way to print on them? I mean, most cost effective way, less investment. Manual printing and uv treating to cure. Is it possible?

I had some PET supplement bottles I filled with warm/hot water and sealed them. Then I did a light sand, dunked them in ammonia for one minute, dunked them in high salinity water for a few minutes, let them cool down and dry. Later, I dunked them with soapy water, vinegar, clean water, and then 91% isopropyl. After drying, they absorbed dye pretty well. I did the same with a construction hard hat but sprayed them with an adhesion promoter bonding primer instead of the ink and spray painted them. Paint stayed on very well.

Dear Den Dee, thanks for your question. It's a special squeegee made by Isimat. It is spring loaded and contorts to the glass shape. Glass is never 100% round, so prints using this squeegee always have the same squeegee pressure
