Cooking what we forage with fire in beautiful British Columbia with Shaine, Hoti and a French bulldog named Quincy!
We do a lot of fishing for salmon and trout!
Thanks so much for watching and supporting! In an effort to preserve/respect the areas and communities where we forage and adventure, we don't disclose the locations. We always encourage you to go out and find your own places to adventure. The great outdoors is full of vast beauty and places yet to be discovered, and with a little bit of effort you'll find lots of rewards! I believe nature is for everyone and no one is stopping you from finding these places, they are out there to be discovered and appreciated! And half the adventure is finding them! So get out there and discover, appreciate and Forage On!
Oh my, I'm a new subscriber, because you got me with that recipe. Looked so delicious! Glad I found your channel, off to binge watch the rest of your videos. Great video Gentlemen! Very much enjoyed it.
Hi Julianne! Welcome to the FTF channel! We are glad you found us! This recipe is my favourite for fish and chips! They were delicious! We had lots of fun making them on the beach. Enjoy the binge fest! We are glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the support! Look forward to hearing from you again! Forage on!
@@ForageToFire Lots - great lakes, small lakes, rivers, streams - salmon, trouts, pickerel, bass, perch, pike, etc. Lots of variety. Sport and commercial. As a kid, I caught crayfish by hand in a creek!
@@WilliamStoic-k7o Oh damn! Lots of options! Very cool! I used to catch crayfish by hand as a kid too! So fun! Creeks walking along flipping rocks and logs . Rivers and lakes snorkelling.
Thanks for the continued support! We shot a lot last Coho season that didn't work out unfortunately. Lots of fish but the videos didnt' work. And then life got busy! That ol story! Thanks for sticking it out showing love for the channel! Appreciate it!
Thanks for reaching out Mario! That's really nice to hear, thank you. Yeah we are planning on posting some coho videos this season. Stay tuned brother!
@@joesutherland225 If you haven't yet you should check out our video "Catching Coho off the beach'" video We shot that in early September there. Yeah maybe we will see you there. come over and say hi if you do. And if we don't good luck and have a blast!
Im pretty sure I went there last summer (no names 😉), the mountains look really familiar. Didn't catch anything off the beach that day but we caught some ground and rockfish from the boat. saw huge 15-20lb coho jumping in front of us there but ill have to slay a northern next time!.
Yeah we don't blow up peoples favourite fishing spots on this channel. There are lots to choose from out there that do. Thumbs down to your sense of entitlement and comment.
@joshanderson924 aww, poor cry baby. Not a Good leader to help out others have a chance to catch a fish thru media platform. Help other Help your self, God bless and be kind.
Shore lunch!? ... but who needs a shore!? 😂 Never thought to just eat in the boat and keep fishing at same time! I miss fishing in the boat with my folks when I was a kid. Trout is my favorite fish. And yes, eat the bones folks and skin if you can learn to cook it so it is crispy and palatable too. Better for ya on both. Great video, thanks!
I think people fail survival challenges for a few simple reasons: 1 - They can't cook 2 - They can't catch 3 - They don't prep right (no beer) 4 - They have no companion (no dog) You, sir, aced this. 10/10, subbed!
I love the videos out on the west coast with Captain Morgan, I’m always sooo impressed with what you fellas catch! 🎣 Keep up the catching and the sharing! #fishing
Thanks gomarine! Glad you liked it. You’re welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting! We will keep posting if people keep watching! Very cool, are you living in Korea?
No catch and cook on this one jJustin, no time unfortunately, to much fishing! But there is a delicious cook coming on the next video! Yeah the sole was a definite double up bonus! Catch you on the next one brother! Forage on!
Nice video with some big flounders, soles. You guys got me want to go out and fish for some flounders. I've always use plastic gulp sandworms, but I might try a stinger now. 👍
@@ForageToFire ahhhh gotcha! Place is a beauty. Almost looked like a part of the Fraser river had me wondering if I been reading regs wrong this whole time lol
Great to have you guys back, fishing and cooking. Based on Hoti’s plate it must have been very very good. What’s that clip that you used with Hoti’s sole that he kept?
Thanks Sonya! Good to be back fishing and cooking! It was very very very good! It's called a stringer. You use it to clip your fish to. You clip one end to yourself and let the fish hang in the water, or over the edge of a small boat like a canoe, or secure it to the edge of the water when your fishing from the beach. Thanks for the question. Forage on!
She was very sad not to be able to come on this fishing adventure. She was missed. But you'll see on the next episode why I had to leave her at home on this trip. Stay tuned!
Thanks! Unfortunately been busy working, no time for fishing. We appreciate hearing that, thanks. Definitely motivates us to make more videos hearing that. thanks for the support!
