Reddit has rocked it and went up over 6% this past Friday. All the EV IPOs were terrible investments; other than Tesla, which took years before it took off.
@@thumperjr100 it’s a gamble investing in IPOs. I had a friend invest in Tesla early on but sold out (after some decent gains), but had he had held onto them another decade he would have been a millionaire.
@@markarnoldsfinance2765 really. Excellent ya I hear a lot Of good stuff with robotic. I might have a hernia or bad groin pull. They checked and nothing there but man. 2 weeks still Soar
First of all thanks for sharing this, and another informative video. All i see is a classic case of high yield trap ( 6 cases here !) there are so many of these etfs out there that are just too complicated to understand, with high expense ratios, high yields, and just too risky in my opinion. respect to you and all that show and follow quality investments. oh and anyone who follows redditt for investment advice or anything is asking for bad ending..
@@quantarrow that’s awesome you recognize the damage a bad investment can make. Luckily, as long as we learn and continuously expand our knowledge then we will succeed, and I hope that my channel and other content out there helps you learn and grow like it did for me.
It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Brian! Imagine i invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.
@@TheFoodFund oh nice! I hear Oahu is a busy island but has some cool things to do and see. Maui would be my next visit and I also think the big island would be neat. I want to visit them all haha. Kauai is definitely a place if you love nature, very laid back.
@@lxvyyy3490 that’s quite the yield on VALE. 1 year and 5 year stock performance is lackluster. Materials and Mining companies seem to contain more risk and ones I typically stay away from but that’s not to say they can’t be successful investments. Its payout ratio is a little high but in no alarming range. Do you see any risks that you are worried about with VALE?
@@JackedSkag yes, income from premiums earned vs losses & expenses paid out. Insurance companies often pay out more in losses and expenses than the premiums earned. It’s not unusual. The way they become profitable is through investments and the investment income they earn. Many insurance companies have huge investment portfolios.
@@markarnoldsfinance2765 Investing the float still takes a backseat to premiums earned vs losses. To say that insurance companies “rarely make income” is false.
Nuclear Accidents have greater potential for disaster than airplanes flight Just because the past accidents didn't kill thousands doesn't mean a future meltdown cant or wont! Yes cost effective and clean but at what risk for those who live down wind of such a plant(city of Philadelphia). No doubt this is great for Microsoft and the investments future of AI but there are other safer options.
@@beware2081 what other safer option would you recommend that could deliver the power needed to run a data center? Also, with commercial type Nuclear Power Plants, the power reactor cannot explode, the fuel is not enriched beyond 5% and it would take much more for that to happen. In the 60 year history of civil nuclear generation, with over 18,500 cumulative reactor years across 36 countries, there have been only 3 significant accidents. I would say that’s a great track record of safety and assurance.
Hidro, solar battery combination could do it with out the need for expensive baby sitting at end of life. Nuclear waste requirs 100s years of safe storage who will be responsible for that commitment?
@@beware2081 the problem is that solar is not great for the environment either and cannot produce enough energy that is reliable for our current energy needs. Hydrogen power produces carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrogen dioxide emissions. Hydrogen is also flammable. I don’t know of any current sources that could offer this combo, which I don’t think is viable or better than nuclear power. I do understand the storage of Nuclear energy is a downfall currently and one with no better option than burying it. I was reading that nuclear energy decays very slowly and that’s overall a safe process but I’d have to look more into it.
I have! It is paradise! I love the trees and beaches there! I got to snorkel with fishes for hours at a time! Thank you for the advice on how to go on this trip at a good price!
I knew this was a "don't buy"long ago I stopped shopping at my local Walgreens too because variety is limited, prices are cheaper elsewhere, clerks don't want to bother to help ,creepy&homeless hang around the parking lot making for a dangerous atmosphere Sales are next to zero However, this one store unlike other locations in near by towns is doing financially well because of it's drive through pharmacy It is the only drive through in my town and it is packed with cars all day I'm surprised there are so many lazy people I never would have guessed a drive through pharmacy would be so popular in my town
@@bluewave7120 that’s all true for the majority of Walgreens I feel unfortunately. One of the Walgreens I went into in my hometown was so bad that people were actively stealing while employees watched as they stayed, “they cannot do anything about it “. Sad.
WBA is a nightmare. I never owned it thank god. I sold out of CVS. I don’t think the industry has a chance . There is to much competition with WMT, COSTCO etc. on and on
@@billyjohnson9166 yeah, I don’t see how Walgreens gets out of this currently. I once considered CVS but never bought in. I feel for those who have losses with this stock.
Interesting stock pick! Have you looked into Actinogen Medical? They’ve got some promising clinical trial results with their Xanamem drug targeting Alzheimer’s and depression. Would be awesome if you could cover them in an upcoming video
@@EthanMedistocks thanks for reaching out, I will try to include this in an upcoming video. I once held JNJ and AbbVie but I don’t anymore, so I am curious to see what this company is all about out.
@@cryptoreaper3327 thanks for reaching out! I grew my knowledge in 2 ways. #1 - Hands on. I asked to take over our reinsurance accounting and was granted that. Therefore I had to learn it by researching, asking questions, and performing the reinsurance tasks and completing worksheets, etc. Utilize your broker, reinsurers, and other employees to ask questions and learn from them. It really is just “rolling up your sleeves” and jumping right into it. #2 - Trainings. Look for trainings and classes you can take to expand your knowledge and understanding. As an Actuary you may hold a different view and it may be more on the trainings side of things, but you can also sit with those who produce the reports and worksheets you will be analyzing and request they train you on them so that you can better perform your job.
@@bluewave7120 smart decision, they all still have much more growth in their future and hold dominant market share. I see title downside and I am actively buying as well!

@@bluewave7120 Nintendo provided me many great memories with my friends and I am glad they have wide appeal as I’m wanting a switch now since many around me have them.
This was a good video 👍🏻 I would put this on my watch list to see how low the dip can go before buying. Curious to your thoughts on investing in Take Two Interactive, (TTWO). It’s absolutely going to have a spike 2 years on from now with the sale of GTA6. Would you buy now with the goal of selling? Or could that cash go somewhere else and produce more gains, faster?
Great video! My favorite Nintendo was the NES. Definitely had the best pixelated Mario adventures! ❤Super Nintendo would be my second, then Nintendo 64!
@@TheFoodFund agree, it’s just a company doing what’s best to grow profitability. I have thought of expanding to other social media platforms but I want to make sure I have the time for that. Are you present anywhere else?
Agree with your moves except maybe Cisco. Seems like it could recover to 50-55 range, solid balance sheet (sitting on cash), and potential in cybersecurity
@@leswhynin913 Cisco definitely has good financials but they have had that for a long time. It’s the lack of growth this company has suffered from but I agree there is some upside with them back above $50 per share. I exited as I feel my money would be better utilized elsewhere.
When the insurer pays $1 then requests $0.60 from the reinsurer, when exactly in time does that request take place? Same for the sharing of premium? Thanks! Appreciate this video and your help!!
