nice. II have a 5v solar panel as a timer drive a tiny solenoid valve. In Florida an 8x12 keeps 44gallon full even in winter low rain months. Video on my channel.
This 5 gallon bucket will do 2 heavy waterings in the garden. I'd like to get a 55 gallon drum in place of the 5 gallon bucket. It's a great unit and the timer is very easy to set.
The only problem with those things are. In the middle of the summer the last thing you want is a hot shower and especially a scolding hot shower. During winter they freeze unless you buy one of the fancy ones. Complete metal design with a heating coil inside. Is salsa very expensive
@davedigsthis I was wanting to move my water storage to the roof but those are the two problems I'm having. I did find a rectangular water tank that was wide butt squat. I could slide it underneath the roof rack. The roof rack itself will have to go up a few inches. But that would provide shade from direct sunlight but it's still on your roof heating up. I've been at this for 7 years trying to make my SUV livable. I gave up on the solar showers and bought myself a propane shower from hike crew. It's a good company based out of Canada. As for me I put in a lot of effort to keep my water supply cool. I have a 7 gallon jug with a permanent placements for the shower and I just carry four collapsible 10 gallon jugs with me. Most of the time the 7 gal water is enough for food and light dishes but when it's time for laundry shower and everything else then I fill them all up
I saw another video on Ew Toob about this using 4 inch black ABS pipes. I made two for the top of my van. Each tube has a shrader valve to pressurize the water and a simple garden hose valve at the other end to attach a hand held shower head.
That's a great question. My lawn is all connected so I just had to make one loop around the boundary and the individual gardens. I just put a small tarp over the unit but plan on making a little shelter.
So you didn't show detaching the hose from the raft after inflated. When I took mine off, the raft lost the air out of the valve. Shouldn't hold the air??
Was the valve in the correct position?.had a similar issue.it should look closed when filling, the pump attachment opens the valve for filling and automatically closes when pump removed.
This thing is trash. From the start I started receiving fault codes not listed on the troubleshooting guide. Contacted customer support (of course in China) so the translation was off. Took 7 days for any sort of response. There was never an acknowledgment they even received my email. Phone number? forget it. You'll need to call them direct to China. Avoid this product, its even being blocked for review on Amamzon where its the only place I can find you purchase it from
I'm gonna get it had my second DeWalt 12 inch die on me yesterday I must have got a thousand hours of cutting out of it but this one looks like a good replacement
Thanks Dave! This looks perfect for watering my raised beds and containers, which I'm getting REALLY tired of hand watering every morning. I'll order it using your link...hope you make a nickel from my purchase. Liked and Subscribed.
Im getting my first fattail scorpion on Saturday. They are so beautiful. But even though its a desert species give it water. My Deathstalker always drinks and they are a desert species too.
Would you recommend this cage for praying mantises to Hatchin? I’m thinking about it because I like that it’s breathable all the way around but I know they’re tiny and I don’t know if they can get through anywhere or if there’s a safe way to feed them without them escaping so easily? And your experience did you find when you went in with your hand they tend to go the other way or did they try to jump out of the cage?
My uncle used gallon glass jars and he used sand in the bottom and fashioned a small wire mesh into the lid. He used to make a lot of these and give them to family and take them to local schools here in Virginia.
Hey guys, some of you may not know this, but did you know that "Androdoctonus" is Greek for " Man-Killer"? These are animals worthy of high quality respect at all times.
Well they can bite but you really have to get on my nerves for them to bite you like you have to be really asking to get bitten but even then it's not poison
they do bite, i can confirm this from first hand experience. I was bitten by the green hooded mantis that had entered my house and i too k hold of it to throw it outside. Furthermore the bite is really painful kind of like they are chewing you not to mention the spikes on their legs
Yes, Chinese Mantids are invasive and will eat pollinators all the way up to hummingbirds. I am in North Carolina and the Carolina Mantis is the native species but being wiped out by Chinese Mantids. Also, female Chinese Mantids are more likely to eat their mates than Carolina Mantids.
YES THEY CAN. And it will light ur azz on fire. I’ve picked up hundreds over the years. But last year one got me. And it was like being hit by an electric fence. I don’t know what the hell he did but I screamed like a 3 yo.
