There’s a difference between difficult and dangerous. All of those jobs he mentions, those people get to go home. For Mom’s, home _is_ the job, and for Mom’s who have a paid job on top of doing what is essentially at least five other jobs? It’s like juggling chainsaws.

IMO, do as many shows on domestic violence as possible, who knows which show will help a woman or child truly take on board that there’s nothing they could do to deserve being abused. His sharp foot pain, sounds like plantar fasciitis, it’s agony. OTOH, when he related asking his partner to walk the dog, did she _know_ he was in pain? Did he mention that when he asked her? If he did, then she was petty for not stepping up. If he didn’t, then IMO he’s partly to blame.
