That tipp about how to flatten the canvas just blew my mind :) That one already earned you a thumbs up. I have also ordered a substitution for the wax. Lets see how this does work out. Thanks a lot. Greetings from Germany.
wow, thank you so much for this video....I was so unsure on how to seal my diamond painting with its shine intact plus keeping the drills safe for years...Your video is so easy to follow as it is so comprehensive especially to a newbie like me. My thanks once again...🥰
I love the light pad idea. How many times do I think I've finished only to realize I've missed a dot! But those spots light up with that pad. Very cool
Hi Samantha, hi from Dubai. Very helpful video since I am having the same thoughts you shared in the beginning of the video. It was easy to understand like someone has commented below you didn’t over explain. To the point. Eager to see more such videos which will give me confidence of making the right decision of buying this machine.
Thank you for this video. Did anyone see the video how disappointed circuit users are with this product. And guess what? Cricut responded. They are going to deep dive to all the issues all users are having. I am so disappointed to hear this but go check it out. I will post the link below. I am quite sure the Circuit joy may be ok for small projects.
This is the first time I've seen this....great tips....however, I use a magnifier that I originally had for stitching....works great for me...I love you drill storage....what brand is it?
Hello Studio Sam. I so appreciate your videos. I am new to diamond art and was given a spray adhesive to seal my painting. Do I use one of those other products with it, or is that it? Since it is a spray and not like one of what you chose, will it be any good and how much do I put on? Do I wipe it after I am done? Thanks for your help.
I've bought a few kits, and some extra tools. However, as of yet, haven't started. I loved these tips!!! And that light board is über awesome! Can't wait to start🤩 How do you remove those rogue bits with your tweezers? I'm afraid of grabbing the canvas and ripping it😯 How do the replacement bits stick on, do we need to add something, or is the canvas still sticky enough? Thanks so much! I've subscribed so that I can watch more of your great content ((and hear that wonderful accent! 😁))
I wanted English dates and can't think of putting stickers for dates. The Japanese language would be tough to follow. I couldn't find an English one anywhere. Is there any other brand for the 5 year journal?
I love the Japanese characters, but I understand it might not suit everyone. Midori have a 5 year journal, it's beautiful but I don't like the layout as much, it doesn't have the blank page on the right. Maybe you could use one of those date stamps? That would love vintage and cute.
On my first diamond painting I accidently rubbed sone of the glue off thinking it was dirt& hair .what tupe of glue would you recomend to replace glue that lifted off the painting so the diamonds will stick again
Loved your video. I’m doing a diamond painting that on a wooden board to be hung on an apt. Hallway door. My concern is dust and flies don’t want it to be sticky. What you suggest so there’s no stickiness. Thanks.
Vid is five years old and looks to have aged well. I just finished my first diamond painting and will go with your suggestions. I actually have both the super gloss and the triple thick on hand as I've used them both to seal my jigsaw puzzles, so...win win!
I recently watched a sealing a diamond video and the person sealing it used a damp cloth to wipe across the diamonds while just applied which seemed to work as well
I’m with @kathysteele3071 I have watched tons of these also and never played around with my cricket as much as I have today watching your video. I’ve made me some stencils for my mixed media using PLAID Simply Stencils material. This was absolutely wonderful as I was able to make my own masks and stencils of like silhouettes of women and men and just lots of cool stuff. Thank you, thank you thank you. Plus, I’m making some lanyards also for my granddaughter who is a schoolteacher.
I'm working on my very first diamond painting and I just knew I was doing the wax thing wrong because I was replacing it so often. Going to get some Blue Tack today. Hopefully the US version is just as good as the Australian version. :)
I disagree None of the diamond paintings ive ever done has nothing but clear plastic over the canvass And i have lifted all the corners over and over to no avail. Also unless you are buying all your diamond paintings from the same Company storing all the drills in a special case is pointless! Every Company has different colors a person surely cant save all those drills. I also find that the tacky blue clay stuff is harder to get off the drills than the red clay
I Actually Use Loctite Fun-Tak Putty Which Works Great And Lasts Much Longer Than The Red Wax They Give You With The Kits And I Love That I Can Buy It At My Local Walmart For Less Than 3 Dollars For 80 Small Tabs
Love your video with simple explaining of what to do and how to use. Been thinking about buying a cricut joy after this video I know I will get one. Thanks for all your input and hi from the Netherlands.
