Thank you so much for this tutorial! It really helped a lot! I was already desperate, thinking I was too dumb for setting up a dcs server but with that tutorial, it‘s so easy!
Is it possible to build a server on a bad notebook this way by hosting a dedicated server? Or does the machine need to be good? I have a laptop and I would like to leave it running on the server so I don't have to use my machine that I use to play games.
Hey there, I've noticed that there are only very little files on the Drive. I'm very interested in the dimensions/blueprints for the seat: Are you able to share these?
WOW I used to actually build the last half of the bomb, called the fin section. Made these in Greeneville Tennessee. The factory I worked at closed in 2008.
Dude, you sold me on these. I just ordered them online. I know how hard it is to keep these single engine propeller planes straight. No matter how hard I focus I cannot dial in the suble amount of input I need to keep it straight. The tension on required by my current set up has me letting off and not being able to correct fluently.
What should I do if my friend doesn't see the server? I created a server, and I can see it myself, I can join, but a friend can't either by IP or by name.
You will likely have to setup a port forwarding rule on your internet router. By default, traffic trying to get to your PC is blocked. When you launch the web GUI for the server, it will tell you both the public facing IP and the port the server is using. Go into your router and setup a port forward for that port to the internal IP of the PC running DCS Server. (If you've never done this before, just search youtube for port forwarding, you'll find plenty of videos on it)
Hi, im buy the game 2 week ago, and want to create a server to play with my friends, this is the way? or today 01/2023 have better or another way to do it?

These sim pits are kinda silly to me, however, I do enjoy my Winwing gear a lot! Gonna order the new Top Gun MIP being released in a couple of days.... I guess I'll have a near complete pit with that and all the other gear from them. Not the reason i'm hear. Man, I think the best thing you could do for yourself, and keep your 'pit', is to replace all that particle board. That stuff is not too friendly. Aside from the serious medical problems it can cause, wood allergies can become an issue too. I've talked with woodworkers (I live in Seattle, where there are a lot of them :D) that quickly became allergic to all woods after they started working with particle board for a job or something.
Definitely not plug and play! Just got mine and downloading drivers is not as simple as the instructions indicate, then binding controls in msfs 2020 was not simple. However, once you get them working, you’ll wonder why you used the twist grip for so long.
FYSA, the software SimAppPro lit up my AV software like a Christmas tree. Dug into all the alerts, and I don't think they are bogus. Pretty sure it sends your data back to China. I would steer clear, and look beyond a simple deinstall to remove it too. Now I'm wondering if there is ROM code on the hardware? Sending it back or putting on Ebay.
@@2018paulrobbinx Nope. Just my preferred brand anti-virus/security software (one of the top ones) lit up when I loaded the software, plus my own speculation. Form your own conclusions.
