dont understand why you cannot wash some of the components… i just washed the metal part that covers the filter and It will not affect the functionality if it dries before next use
Yes, metal mesh filter can be washed. The bin have electrical components for the white plastic lid that blocks dust from falling out when machine is not in use. Bin should not be rinsed. Filter can maybe be washed in cold water and then dried completely. Maybe they tell you not to rinse because some maybe install damp filter and engine fails. I have this machine and I don't think filter need a rinse. Only use the knob, twist and then tap plastic end on hard surface to remove dust.
Please provide screws/wall plugs with these Hoovers. I very nearly started a returns dispute as I thought mine had been misplaced with my order. The top part is easy to resolve, but the lower area has a very long section that needs more specialized parts. Would be beneficial if the correct sizes were provided for ease of installation.
Inefficient design.. Why not provide a free-standing floor docking station? No damaging the wall, no drilling or other time wasting, and it can be moved whenever and wherever you want. Make it also capable of being affixed to the wall if that's considered useful.
There is a gap between the bin and motor unit just under the spring loaded lock at the top. About 4 mm too much space between two plastic parts where the motor unit snaps in. This causes the whole unit to flex. This is a design flaw To fix this cut small pieces of furniture pads (with adhesive), 20 x 10 mm, and stick one on each side. Now motor unit fits nicely and there is no play/flex. For even better fit you can also put very small pieces of pads at the bottom of motor unit where bin make contact.
No. I just checked the manual; in picture number 32 it shows the filter being emptied to a trashcan and theres a small watertap icon with a cross over it.
Just bought this and it seems good. Very disappointed that I can’t register the guarantee. A complete joke. You ring up and it says do it in line. You try on line and it won’t allow you to do it. Very unprofessional 😢
