omg my Greek passport photos are awful every time, it's impossible for me to get a good one from a photography place 😭😭 British passports accept pictures from a photo booth and they're a lot nicer so I just stopped using the Greek one lol, it was so embarrassing. have fun in Italy!!
I'm not sure if you mean the one in the vintage frame, but that's embroidery made by my grandma. Maybe she was inspired by an artwork, cos personally it reminds me of something
I love the idea of the Band. Maybe for autumn u can do it again and add the drummer (cause i am drummer haha) or maybe some specials beside a typicial band constellation like Pianist or saxophonist:)
i have recurrent depression, and i've always struggled disordered thinking, especially at night! i once encountered a post on tumblr (of all places, ahaha) to never really give much weight to my negative thoughts after 9-10pm, and in a very strange way, that kind of helped me. it can be so difficult to navigate mental health, whether it's chronic or situational, but for me it was having these little rules and strategies for myself for those days when i feel more... fragile? susceptible to negativity? that have gotten me through some of those nights when my thoughts are too loud. :) i just really related to what you said about feeling vulnerable at night.
Just a note, not all "kids in their bedroom" actually record all alone. Sometimes they ahve help and they just use the "simple and solo" thing as a publicity stunt! I read last year that a girl who was pretending to be an independent and "making music in my room inspired by people's comments" songwriter, actually had her manager comment the "fan's idea" for her song that made her famous, a song that they already had recorded and just wanted to somehow advertise it to be relatable etc. Who's to say that the "recording at home" was not a publicity stunt too?! Many people who record alone do not have the best quality so don't sweat it! Not saying all of course, and yes you will try to make it as good as possible!
Oh my gosh I love Kevin the cat! 😂 I actually have one of those paintings as a widget on my phone lol makes me laugh every time I see it the one where it’s looking up and meowing lol yours came out so well!! 🤎 As for what you were saying about situationships, yeah it’s such a hard position to be in. 😕 Before I met my husband I liked someone else once upon a time and they gave me a lot of mixed signals knowing they didn’t like me back that way, but was considered “over friendly.” I technically broke my own heart because I really wanted it to work out but it got better once they moved elsewhere and I had no interactions with them anymore. I focused really hard on myself afterwards for a few years and then when the right time came in meeting my husband (who I didn’t know I would end up marrying actually) it all happened at the perfect time 🥰 I couldn’t have been more happier
I’ve also been a bit unmotivated with my writing personally. I’ve been trying my hardest to work on this book I’ve started back in 2022 and it’s just not sticking 😅 I even carry around my iPad and portable keyboard to type up notes if they come to me, but nothing *sigh* the jacket came out so cool by the way! I do enjoy your chatty videos it’s like we’re sitting across from each other and I’m just listening to your stories and thoughts 🥰👍🏼
I don't know about others, but I really like the way your music sounds. Maybe It's not professional quality, but I think it has a lot of charm and personality beacause of it :D My favourite is Leander and I've been listenin to it nearly every day since it came out :)
I thought that heart vase was awesome but then I did an image search of their website listing (for $28) and I'm pretty sure The Other Aesthetic is drop-shipping since I found that exact same vase off Shein (for $4)
Thank you for putting up with the sweltering heat to show us these gorgeous outfits! Such cute ideas to embrace the witchy vibe even when it's super hot. I'll have to rewatch in summer (I'm currently in the middle of winter and trying to stay warm 😆)
Is there a way to put a small window ac unit? My studio doesn’t have a built in ac either and we put one in the window because we can’t deal with the heat ourselves 😅
jobs that aren't remote even partially are so frustrating, especially after covid! I do enquiry management at the moment (answering emails and social media messages) and it's fully remote because that just makes sense, why would I need to go in to the office when my managers can just call me anyway? such a waste of money and time and energy spent commuting + providing a lunch for yourself. good luck with your interview!! pretty much everyone I know at the moment is in this process of quitting their job or interviewing for other positions. i think people are no longer willing to settle for a poor workload, especially since people in this day and age don't have a single job/career for life anyway (also wtf was going on with that man omg, I'm autistic and I notice neurodiverse men are very keen to declare their neurodiversity to get away with being creepy - ew!)
That’s awesome you started your own business! 🥰 and yeah that man sounded sketchy and that was good you left when you did. Hope the interview goes well at the other place! For me personally I work at a private school and working with children has helped me in my life and circumstances. You will definitely find what works out for your life for sure, I believe in you! 😄🤎 The cat paw came out super cute!! This video is going to the playlist I have made for pretty much all your videos so I can replay them whenever as I do my things. Keep up the great work!
I also work a few freelance gigs (graphic design in particular for that) and as a subcontractor to several companies (totally different sector), it can be a very cutthroat way of making a living, but if you enjoy it that does make it easier in some ways. I like the freelancer conference speech "Fvck you, pay me", definitely check it out :) wishing you the best of luck, keep after it!!!
