I wish someone would cover how well it reacts if you had to mismatch the impedance, for amps that run only 4/8 ohm output and cabs with only 4/16 ohm input such as the 1960 Marshall.
Neil used to like to pop those black beauties, too. (Younger folks probably don't know what I'm talking about). But he only popped them when there wasn't any 'caine around (so it wasn't very often) lol
I am thinking about getting one of these. I have one question though, which repeated emails to Rivera have gone unanswered. So I am using it with my Marshall DSL20 head into an 8 Ohm cab. I reach for a EQ switch but hit the 8-16 Ohm selector switch right beside it. Do I fry my amp? That switch should be on the back, no?
Got a 73 BB fretless wonder w/embossed pups- (yes, embossed gold pups lasted a few months into 73). Anyway, it's an absolute killer custom. I actually crowned the original little banjo frets so they're super accurate intonation-wise, and you can definitely get under them to stretch. The guitar looks like it was dragged behind a dump truck, but it's all there. Incredible!
Honestly this is a horrible demo because the guy had the reverb crank as far as I know the whole time it's starting to give me a headache you can't listen to a fuzz face with reverb crank are you kidding me what a joke somebody needs to tell this guy to redo his video turn off the stupid reverb and let us actually hear the fuzz faces this is really dumb I don't care this guy supposedly works in a music store or whatever he's a moron he needs to get a job at Domino's

What a special guitarist and musician. Can’t believe he would part with that guitar. Thanks for the video, he’s one of my favorite guitarist ever, great to see him again.
I LOVE Neal's playing, writing, and performance styles. But as a person I find him so off-putting. He's undoubtably a genius, but something about the way he speaks to people gives me bad vibes.
I watched some interviews of him from the 80’s and I totally caught the same vibe. I’ve always been in love with his playing but I get what you’re saying.
