@@davek5529 yes they work perfect 👌 I have a video on my channel of me using them. In that video I pressed 1/2 inch fittings. I’ve also pressed 3/4 gas fittings with the Vevor pro press but i didn’t record it which I should have but I just wanted to hurry up and get the job done. I will record the next one.
Lmao i forget to change the head too when i am pressing a different sized tee because when you solder its the same process no matter the sise. I saw at the end you forgot to change the head for the boiler drain lmao i am glad im not the only one messing it up hahaha
@@leeshilling83 I was going to use the pro press 90 with a pro press street 90 but it was too big and made the riser crooked. The regular solder fittings were the perfect size so I had to use them instead.
Got ya. Maybe a 90 and street 45 would work in Propress. Same reason I still solder all my boiler installs. Propress fittings take up too much space with their sweeping elbows and oversized fittings.
It looks heavy, I used to use a Milwaukee M18 for 3 years and then it broke, I purchased the HEWLEE TOOL (similar to this one) on AMZ and now use it every day, I think it will be lighter and it does my job well
Bro thats messed up you unsoldered a valve cuz you didn't have enough pipe to cut it off and crimp it but what about the next guy that has to cut off youe valve
You can remove a pro press fitting it’s definitely a little more involved but doable. You first cut the fitting off and then use a copper pipe re sizer.
Yes this tool is awesome. It does the same thing as the others for a lower price. I’ve had it for about 6months and it’s holding up well. I use this for all my tankless water heater installs.
@@Scott-eo7lj with the Vevor pro press I’ve done six tankless water heaters all pro press including pro press shut off valves , 3 service risers, a few spot repairs, and I have used the mega press jaws from Milwaukee for gas lines and I have had zero leaks and no call backs. This pro press is also stronger than the Milwaukee m12. I totally trust this product.
@@kaybi6 good question. I have a video here on RU-vid where I use the 1/2 inch mega press jaws and it worked perfect. I also have used the 3/4 jaws as well and there were no leaks. I haven’t used 1inch or higher but I believe it will work. The Vevor propress is equivalent to the Milwaukee m18.
@@firearmconvention946 I have not pressed 2inch yet. Maybe one day but I have no I idea when because I haven’t had any jobs that required 2inch so far.
@@AlChilazoLife unfortunately there is not. They are more expensive than buying the whole Vevor pro press kit. You still save money in the long run by buying the Vevor pro press and then buying the Ridgid c1/v1 and Milwaukee mega press jaws than buying the rigid or Milwaukee pro press.
@@Antiquefirearms724 it’s still holding up really good. I used it yesterday with the rigid C1/V1 jaws for a tankless water heater install. I’ll be posting that video today.
I just purchased this used it for 6 presses of 3\4 copper fittings for water no leaks so far. Very happy with it, just a little heavy. Came a with 1/2to 2 inch copper press dies 2 batteries they do look like Makita style batteries. But I cannot verify. The manufacturer says it presses at 37n. Which is over 8000psi.
@@RockoRocko-rz7kx I agree with everything you are saying and yes you can use Makita batteries with the Vevor propress. Glad you got it it’s a really nice deal.
How long until vevor wants you to send it in for calibration? I assume there's certain amount of times it will actuate before needing to be checked the right KNs of force range
@@TOOL_TECHNICAL after 30,000 crimps. It shows on the Vevor pro press how many times it’s been used. I don’t know if Vevor provides that service though.
@@machaf you’re completely wrong. I don’t get paid at all from Vevor and I’ve never asked if they can pay me for doing reviews for them. I don’t even have more than 50 subscribers which I think matters if they are going to use me to promote their product. I am putting out this video for people who are considering getting one but are not sure because of how low the price difference is compared to big named brands. I was also real iffy about getting one because not too many people did reviews on it but since I got one I decided to be the person to put videos of me testing it and using it so I can help others realize that it’s actually a good product.
@@fasteddie5388 it’s working out perfect! For DIY you made the right choice but even if you bought them to use for work like me you would still have made the right choice.
The hose relieves pressure unevenly. Use a hard pipe to test. Also manhandling the fittings inserting and reinserting and it didn't look like you cleaned and debarred either
@@yungwing4940 There’s no need for me to test this product anymore because I have videos on my channel where I’ve done work with it, like install a tankless water heater, and I have had zero call backs. I have used the Vevor pro press countless amount of times and it works perfect no leaks whatsoever.
I have the tools and works great ,it’s heavy but does the work for best price ,,I think is fine to beginners,,once you make more money you can better brands
I haven’t done any research on the hvac side but I know that if any jaws are compatible with the Milwaukee m18 then you can definitely use those jaws on the Vevor pro press. Does that help?
Yes it is heavy but not unbearable. I use this pro press all the time and I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to pay $2,500 or $3,000 for one. I bought it for $900 which includes the jaws from 1/2inch to 2inch so yes it is good!
