Love your videos not a huge fan of tourist traps your truck was built for off-road any compact car can go to Yellowstone I agree when in the woods you should have bear spray I don't know if you can carry a shotgun or not? Anyways keep rolling and having fun looking forward to your next video cheers
Need to adjust the angle of the front diff to the driveshaft coming from the transfer box to avoid a lot of future problems. Rear looks really cool and the middle section. Its not hard to reweld the entire front drivetrain to reattach it at the right angle for such high jacked front. But its critical and it would still work better that way even if lowered to a normal suspension specifications
🤗🥰. Hermoso canal y hermosos viaje.!!😚☺.
Hammering the yokes seems like your gonna deform or bend them introducing wobble and have the new ujoints get loose sooner. We just use a large "C" clamp and gently push it out with the right size sockets.
I love watching your Channel I know you're a mechanic but it's still great when you talk about changing a head gasket like other people talk about changing a tire😂 keep rolling looking forward to your next video
The Flaming Gorge area is beautiful area. Ashley National Forest has tons of free spots to camp. I’ve actually been to the survey marker to the Wyoming, Colorado, Utah state boundaries. I have overheated many times around the Flaming Gorge area. Nothing wrong with Alice In Chains. If Winchester likes it then by all means listen to it. The horse flies are bad where we’re at in Montana at the moment. We’ll be heading south down to Fort Bridger, Wyoming by Labor Day weekend. Enjoyed the video. Safest of travels to ya!
Don't forget Black Bear Pass (if it is open yet).. Now, that would be a record I believe.. I went down it in a highly modified Dodge 2500... The switchbacks were not much fun at all... ;).
Awesome! Look at you, red white and blue! Good to see you at the aprés-beers. Congrats on a big milestone... And a big relief I imagine. Looking forward to the next adventure episode. Onward!
cool build - what do you think is themes reliable Land Rover engine? and the pinzgauers meant to be even better - whats your mechanical opinion? ps portal axels be cool on this
Tdi is the most simplest and reliable for bush fixing if need be, I think.. TD5 the best for performance nowadays with aftermarket stuff available.. don't know much about Pinz.... Portal's are amazing... Winchester's tall enough though...!
@@the_nomadic_mechanic its tall but not got that underneath clearance yet - like the heating and hot water system is that the glycol drive heat up tanks and heated floor as drive - also like the solar when battery's full heat up heating element in water tank .
Great video, respect. 80 years. On the 80th Anniversary of D-Day Humanity once more is under threat, when eighty years ago a Western front was opened up at Normandy to get another foot in Europe’s door, then hunt down fascists who for years ruled France’s roost, inflicting death and terror on the folk across an entire continent. It loosed a beast that smashed the occupier’s yoke. Five D-Day beaches ran with Allied blood, as bullets, mines and mortars took their toll. No gun emplacements stemmed the potent flood of liberation, fought for, heart and soul. Let’s celebrate the freedoms which that day bestowed on us, and keep them, come what may. By Paul Freeman.
great build however your kickdown cable may be too tight as it seems to be going down gears too early ! slacken off slightly. could you say more about the set up etc , like mpg or revs at 60 mph .i have a 109 forward control camper with a holden straight six [ 3300 cc ] in australia so i can compare
