This is a identical bead roller that i purchased at Princess Auto in Canada. Going to use a 12 volt winch setup to power mine with a 120 volt converter to 12 volt with a potentiometer to control the speed, and foot pedal for hands free on the power unit.

Just curious but wouldn’t a windshield washer motor with a larger gear and a smaller gear on the roller be enough power at a slower speed

On the contrary... it could have got WAY much better than that, if the man, genius, and legend in his own lifetime, that is Richard O. kiser, plus his "Beast" RSR GT machine, and Cobra, had been given a fair and deserved share of the limelight, to add some much needed contrast in the video too, instead of the paltry 2 mins worth if that, of exposure they were actually afforded! Also, seems pointless showing a glimmer of a car, then add insult to injury to its creator, to not adequately introduce the 21st century version of the ROKSTOK RSR turbo to the viewer, with detailed footage of the car in its entirety, both inside and out, and/or enlighten the uninitiated out there, who the creative force behind the car actually is, nor mention anything about the build, ROKSTOCK brand historically, or the fact he spent 8 years building and creating his latest work of automotive art, so why include it at all! There was a golden opportunity missed, to support this man's ongoing aspirations, highlight his work both past and present, celebrate the ROKSTOCK brainchild and concept as a whole, plus enlighten those that aren't already aware, that he's back with a vengeance, but never really went away anyway. This was an especially appropriate thing to do, given the fact hes not only graciously accommodated the "OHR" logo on that fabulous, one of a kind, 21st century collectors item of his, but also designed the moniker too, but guess it's free advertising all the way for OHR, while the vehicle it's displayed on, conveniently gets overlooked, along with the talent behind it, who never gets any credit and/or promotion out of the deal! Noted there was a lot of swearing evident in the footage too, which was very offputting and distasteful, and therefore wondering what audience the film is aimed at, when women and younger enthusiasts might be watching! May I suggest therefore, that certain sections of the film get edited out, and substituted with a substantial amount of what should have been in it in the first place...more ROKSTOCK material?!
@oregonhotrod7847
@oregonhotrod7847 2 года назад
Thank you for your input Adam. But, unfortunately this video is about a fun day at the races. A feature on ROKSTOCK would take a separate video with different footage, interviews and such. Definitely would make a great video and perhaps that could happen in the future. But, only ROK knows if that can happen.

The story I was told from the old-timer that sold it to me was when the plant was going under a lot of the Foreman's were taking those out the door with them on their last day lol

Hi Ken, The axle is from a late 30's to early 40's Ford, that the wish bones were highly modified. The frame was all hand built as well. This setup has the spring in front of the axle, rather than on top of the axle. My truck was a 47 KB-7 originally.
